"Went for an early family gathering Christmas Lunch what a great experience!! First of all the carvery was amazing with the meats and roast potatoes cooked to perfection. What truly made the visit was the staff. They were all super friendly and helpful and all worked together so well. If I had a gripe the loo's could use an update but this was a minor thing compared to the overall atmosphere created by this wonderful team. I am sad I live 200 miles away or this would be a regular haunt for me. If you own a restaurant and want to see how your staff can win you business, visit Ruby's and see how it is done Bravo and thank you for making our family get together so special."

We drink here all the time. Staropramen is best pint anywhere in Llanelli. Staff brilliant. Great pub.

Ab **** booked for 1pm they d run out of food eventually had cold vedge rock hard parsnips no roasties . No compensation when I complained and no manager!

Ordered the 2 steak deal for an evening meal. The service was excellent and the food could not be faulted.Nice little extra of sauteed onions which were delicious. Ver carta

This place is friendly and the best place in llanelli food is truly amazing and your made to feel welcome everytime I go there great atmosphere lovely staff really love going there

We've been here for Sunday carvery twice in the last month, food is good , service today was bad but last time was good. Nothing flashy about this place and it has reasonable prices

Nice large pub to call in to , after a day walking the dog or after shopping in town . Live sports on the TV in the bar area. Dog allowed in the bar area or restaurant area depending how busy it is in the restaurant. Made to feel welcome with our two small dogs. Ver carta

Only moved into the area 4 weeks ago. Went to Ruby's on the 26th for Sunday carvery. Great atmosphere and lovely welcome. Food is AMAZING with a great choice of meat and veg. The beef is so succulent and the roast potatoes and stuffing balls are excellent. Dessert is very more-ish. Was very full leaving there. Already booked in for next week

Im always a little unsure when it comes to Sunday Lunch deliveries as it can be a bit of a gamble as to what youll get and what state it will be in when it arrives. Anyway to save the Mrs some effort in the kitchen I ordered in two beef dinners. Well, it arrived dead on time and we did an unboxing video and photo. The result is we were very happy with our lunches, very tasty and well presented in a foil container, not squashed into a polystyrene box as some have done. I would order again. "After our appalling experience six months ago, I was reluctant to take the advice that we should give it a second chance, but I 'm glad we did. You walk in and immediately feel welcome. Prompt service with a smile and amazing food made this a first class dining experience. My wife and I shared a samosa and sweet chilli dip starter which was excellent. Now I am a glutton for steak and ale pie, and if it 's on the menu, there 's a better than even chance I 'll order it. For that reason, I would consider myself a connoisseur, and can honestly say this was the best I 've ever had. The puds were also to die for. Well done the new management to turn this place around and put it the top must visit category."

"I called in for some quick coffees here while driving through and could not be more impressed by the staff. Although we had arrived before the store is actually open for business, the staff while prepping to open, noticed us and very kindly offered to get us coffees. Not a service I have got anywhere recently. They were polite, welcoming and prompt with the coffees, and we were on our way again. The beverages were good, my partner particularly liked the Americano. A little politeness and kindness goes a long way! If I could I would leave six stars for the staff here. Food: 5 Service: 5"

"Ventured into this establishment in search of a traditional Sunday lunch, choice of turkey, beef, lamb,or pork. Having chosen the lamb, I must admit it was one of the better Sunday lunches I have eaten out, lamb roast perfectly cooked, with a selection of 6 vegetables as well as a scoop of mashed potato,a roast potato and some cauliflower cheese and plenty of gravy. Others had the turkey and were equally as impressed. One course £8, two course £11, I don’t recall how much the three course was, possibly £15? Well worth the money. The normal menu was up on the blackboard too, and looked quite inviting, Will probably return to try their ‘rest of the week fare’, good quality meal, enjoyable visit. The bar is well stocked with a selection of beers, soft drinks and spirits."

"Visited during the eat out to help out scheme during August. Government website indicated this establishment was participating in the scheme but we were refused the discount and told the offer was not available until the following week. I then saw the Hangout advertising the scheme on Facebook, the day prior to us being there and inviting people to call in and get the discount. When I responded to this inaccuracy on f/book, my post was removed by the Hangout.I then wrote to the Hangout directly and was accused by Pen Lee of splashing bad vibes and making accusatory statements all over social media. They said they weren 't pulling a fast one or whatever I wanted to believe!I am bitterly disappointed that I was supporting a local business and got treated so shoddily and disrespectfully."

"My family had a meal last night at this inn. The hosts were extremely welcoming but I am afraid to say the food was terrible. The surroundings required updating and the toilets, well!!My daughter-in-law and husband had duck priced at £16.45. They got what was supposed to be spiced duck iwhich was served n a tasteless sauce accompanied by rice. I hasten to add that they were offered peas as the veg!! For over £16 I thought it rather overpriced and of a very poor quality and presentation. I do not normally write reviews but I felt this place was so bad that I had to make other people aware. If you drive past this place my advice is to keep driving!!"
