we had a nice meal here. great eating, beautiful environment and good service. some tables look at the cathedrale green, which is beautiful.

I had steak one of the best in a few years . The wine was good and service as well. Even though we could only get an early booking we weren't rushed

The food is very good, and proper authentic Italian. It's not cheap so it's more wealthy retired crowd when I was in there on a Thursday evening. You need to book ahead or you wont get in. The setting is a lovely old building in Wells which is an amazing place to visit.

we went to lunch and oh my, it was delicious! we had three courses and that was great! they got good portions, but I wasn't unhappy full and the aromen were amazing. I recommend the truffle ravioli. the personal is also beautiful. the bathroom could have a refreshment of the decor, but were clean. the ones they're lifting would probably have taken them to a 5 stars for me.

absolutely stunning. really excellent eating and a bonus where we stay in the hotel. the Dover-sole with saphir and crevettes was perfect (actually delicious and spicy) and the veg with it was really fresh and cooked for perfection. desserts were fresh and tastefully made home. brilliant wine selection too. service was fantastic and friendly and we felt very safe with the windows opening a bit and the ceiling fans gently around the air. we were not cold. highly recommended. not the cheapest place where I ate, but worth every penny. very good.

Worst experience ever. The manager, Nick if I remember correctly, was the rudest person I've ever seen. He was bullying the staff all the time, making them feeling uneasy and looking at the client's tables like a mafia guy, walking furiously through the dining. Food was terrible, cheap quality, funny flavor and extremely overpriced (458£ for 3 people, 1 bottle of VERY low quality wine, really?? , just a tourist trap. Toilets were a joke, tiny space and full of dirt. Wells deserve better places, this one is embarrassing. Ignominious to say the least. Service: 1

really beautiful Italian restaurant, would recommend to everyone to eat and taste the experience of the restaurant. we've been in the banghole for so long. 1 min to foot from the main center. my family is Italian we are always looking for authentic Italian foods, such beautiful aromes and good quality ingredients. I had the gnocchi it was like a fluffy cloud to eat so soft and the mushroom sauce was amazing. I would say asking for a look through the window because they get a beautiful view of the cathedrale and the green. the prices are good for the portion sizes they receive, and we would book again in spite of our coming. many thanks to all the staff for this be so friendly and attentive,...

We have just had the most amazing short break staying at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was excellent with a separate bathroom which has a fantastic bath tub! The dinner we enjoyed in the restaurant was cooked and presented to a really high standard and the breakfast the following morning was just WOW. Freshly cooked, served on warm plates and the toast was hot. I don’t know how many times when we have stayed away that we have sent the cold toast back, but not here and nothing was too much trouble.
