"My wife and I were driving down from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca and were hoping to have lunch at a wine bar there that had been well reviewed on TA. Unfortunately it turned out to be closed. We were both tired, hot and grumpy and nothing else that we saw in town appealed to us. When we were researching possible places for lunch the day before we noticed this cafe also got great reviews. Therefore, even though it was another 10 minute further drive we decided to go for it... boy we glad we did: delicious Caprese salad with tuna, a tasty panini with local meat and cheese and a great local beer from Capo d'Otranto. Then came the best part: a trio of gelatos featuring chocolate, almond and fig and a third flavour I can't remember the name of but was just as yummy as the first two. As that apparently wasn't enough we also got a delicious chocolate and cream pasticiotti and a couple of Caffe Leccese. Wow! Marco the owner was so warm and hospitable, even though he didn't speak much English and our Italian is very limited to say the least. This for us was a reflection of what foreign travel is all about it can be a lot of hard work and aggravation but just when things seem to be going sideways you can have an amazing experience like this. "I was in this braceria with my wife behind advice of a friend, we took a Florentine of black angus from a kg, with baked potatoes contour and fries, the staff was really nice to recommend what to take but above all, having problems on cooking me and my wife, to meet our needs, we also tasted a couple of bombs, raw materials of excellent quality, just think you have the choice of tasted meat two We'll be back."

"Sono stata almeno 4 volte in una settimana di vacanza a settembre con il mio compagno, pesce fresco, cibo curato e buonissimo, servizio professionale e molto attento al senza glutine. In 20 anni di celiachia mi è capitato poche volte di trovare persone così preparate sul senza glutine dal cameriere al cuoco in un locale non AIC…si può prendere tutto il menu a parte le paste ripiene, tutto ottimo e fresco…rimasto pienamente soddisfatto anche il mio compagno che mangia con glutine. Veramente bravi complimenti, se torniamo in zona sicuramente torneremo a guastare qualche loro squisitezza."

"A nice and cozy illuminated place that also looks inviting without sea views. At meal there were good and less good: the bean puree was very tasty, the fried anchovies excellent, the grilled prawns were great, spaghetti Vongole and spaghetti Cozze were salted, the veal tagliata unfortunately tough. The service was relatively fast, but negligent because one of the ordered main dishes had been forgotten and was only delivered when all the others had already finished eating. This can happen in principle, but it was not understandable, since only a few tables were occupied in the restaurant. No kind word while coming, no adoption when walking and no reaction, let alone thanks, for a generous tip that would not have been deserved at all."

"Abbiamo mangiato la sera in questo molto bello e ben curato per la posizione. Ci sono poche tabelle e quindi l'ambiente è molto confortevole. Per quanto riguarda la cucina era buono, ma alcuni piatti non erano al costo. La pasta con riccioli per esempio non mi ha veramente convinto.. Non era molto gustoso. Premetto che è un tipo di pasta che spesso prendo nei vari luoghi del mare.. il dolce invece era molto buono. ."
