"we requested a table for 4 weeks before the arrival in berlin and were delighted that a table was available from the waiter list. we have loved each other as a family of 4 with my husband and two daughters (both 12.) we have loved this evening. it was one of the best we had in a long time, and we have eaten at numerous 3* melin restaurants all over the world. they are thoughtful about the taste of each plate and how it all comes together without care. we loved especially the carp that mangalitsa swarm, the alcohol-free juice pairings and the local German weine. They take humiliated ingredients and make them magically over alchemy each dish was spectacular in its taste, and the portion sizes perfect we were full without the crowded, bloated feeling at the end of the meal. we loved the local German elements that they worked into the meal most ingredients are from local farmers and producers, although they are not fanatic about it and the concrete is really on quality and the meal fantastic. service was very friendly and thoughtful, without being intrusive at any point. very memorable and definitely would be here again for more dinner!"

One of the best restaurants ever, and one of the top restaurants among 3-star Michelin restaurants, which are the best in the world. Food is super creative. Everything was perfect.

We had a nice little dinner in the Weinstube which is the small bar+restaurant at Rutz. Perfect service, great food and wine in a nice atmosphere it could not be better. Optimum start for our evening in the jazz club round the corner and...a beautiful evening in Berlin.

avoid terrible service, they charged us a fee for the cancellation 2 days before. we explained our flight was canceled, and we would not do it in time and we told them two days in advance and they calculated the full price of dinner. that is absurd and. terrible service. avoid.

a very nice person who knows wines and understands what you want, even in English. He is able to explain what he serves you in a simple and truly understandable way. The cellar is very impressive. A superb address that makes also resto but we haven't tried and so we can't give a review of the meal you will understand.

my visit did not begin well when I said after a confirmation that my wife was unable to come with me. then they asked, I couldn't take anyone else. I didn't. but it was excellent. there is a set menu of either...7 or 8 curses that they can add caviar (as separate curs.) Wine pair is available, and it was very good. all 9 courses were exceptional. this is really a 3-star restaurant! service was also very friendly and professional.

A medium sized restaurant one floor above a winebar. Simple design and an open kitschen. Chairs more comfortable than they look. A relaxed atmosphere quite uncommon for top class restaurants but welcome. Service perfect and food really good and interesting. Exceptional wine list and really...excellent option of wine pairing. Some extra options to the set menu at extra cost but well worth considering. In short a very rewarding dining experience. Expensive but still value for money.

the meal was prepared excellently with very unusual and cutting? techniques and ingredient. beautiful presentation. the problem is, nothing tastes great. our part of 3 was quite disappointed. for certain viewers, this food may be unique and rewarding. later this week we ate. an amador in the meadow and had the best meal of our life. Although equally elegant and well prepared, it was a bit more mainstream and delightful. also the schtick in restaurant was a bit pretentious and about the tip, vs other great restaurants that were more fun.

We were wecomely received and were told to 'feel at home '. We enjoyed the delights of creative and innovative cuisine of the 8 course menu along with the wine pairings. All of the service staff were friendly and professional. The courses were very pleasing to...the eye and a sensation on the palate. Several courses were served as two separate dishes. The sommelier remembered comments and altered the following wines accordlingly. We arrived at 6:30 pm and left after 11 pm. An amazing evening from start to finish. Definitely a luxury, but for a special occasion well worth it. Thank you so much!

Saving the German Eating Culture! That is the motto of Rutz Restaurant and Weinbar. We were lucky to get a table in the Weinbar (tip: always reserve your table). Why lucky: the interior is stylish, the food excellent and the wine ... with hundreds of...bottles on the menu it is logical that this is one of the key-selling points of Rutz. So why not then the maximum rating? The service was a bit sketchy (note: we came at an evening with some of the sommeliers receiving a price so Rutz was understaffed) and the restrooms were relatively dirty (note: they were busy upgrading the restrooms). All-in-all a great experience and I certainly would recommend it!
