One of the best restaurant in London! Very good service and perfect food. If i Came black again in London, the first restaurant i ll reserved is this!

Had been on my list for ages but left disappointed : after visiting spain, the food just didn’t feel like authentic Spanish cuisine I’m afraid. Best dish was the tiramisu

A friend organised for a group of us to come here. I had never heard of it before, but I’m glad he chose it. I had a really enjoyable time catching up with old friends and eating and drinking tasty food and wine. Ver carta

When we arrived, the host that took us in was not friendly and very morbid. Three of us without alcoholic drinks paid £153 for the smallest plates I’ve ever seen. The toilets smelled awful. It was not worth the money we spent. This was our first and will be our last time.

Fabulous Spanish tapas which is Italian influenced. Absolutely delicious food and great service. Poor Richard was here on his own behind the bar and waiting tables due to staff sickness despite this our experience was fabulous. I brought my brother for an early birthday dinner since he was visiting from the USA. Great cocktails too!

A really nice place to catch up with friends over multiple courses of very good tapas. We sat here and caught up with our UK friend for several hours. Tapas is perfect for conversational meals and the Salt Yard staff understands that. Inquiries from staff are timely and unobtrusive as rounds of food arrive. The tapas which I ordered were really awful. The ham croquettas were minuscule and not heated properly they were tepid (we ended up with stomach upsets later that night). The grilled cuttlefish did not show many signs of being grilled it was also barely warm. The lamb was as tough as old boots, chewy and sinewy. Having said this the patatas bravas were fine, as were the churros, and the vegetarian options my wife had were OK. The prices are excessive for the size and quality of the food. I left feeling extremely disappointed as I had read lots of good reviews for the food. We have a tapas restaurant near our home which knocks this one into a cocked hat. I was a solo woman guest and The Salt Yard was recommended to me by the Rathbone Fitzrovia Hotel. I made a dinner reservation for a table through the restaurant website which was confirmed. When I got to the restaurant they offered by a stool seat at the bar, obviously because I was alone. I am 69 years of age and this was not a comfortable option for me, and unacceptable since I had made a reservation. It was obvious that they preferred to save their tables for parties of at least 2 which are more profitable to them. I was then told there was a table in the basement, but I would be alone there and they did not recommend it. At this point I felt humiliated and rejected and preferred to leave...

My wife and I have been here a few times over the years and always had a good experience, but sadly not this time. We decided to have lunch here on Sunday, 15 October. Although the food was good the service was very poor. One member of staff appeared to have a lot that he wanted to say to his colleagues. As they were stood within earshot of our table we couldn't help but overhear everything that was being said, which is not conducive to a pleasant dining experience. We have no interest in hearing about his latest staff appraisal, or anything else that was on his mind. We were offered the menu to choose a dessert, but even though we waited for a considerable amount of time the waiter did not... Ver carta
