"Consiglio questo ristorante per chi ama la cucina Toscana, ottime le pietanze dagli antipasti ai primi tordelli e zuppe ai secondi dal baccalà alla carne Abbiamo preso antipasti affettati misti polenta fritta, crostini, poi come secondo guancia di maiale con cipolle caramellate e fagioli, pollo fritto con patate fritte e baccalà. Poi come dolce una pera cotta, un tiramisù e gelato. Piatti tutti squisiti, conosco i titolari da anni e questo ristorante è una garanzia di qualità, poi ora è stupenda la decorazione natalizia con il ristorante illuminato A presto e complimenti ancora!"

"lovely place, rustic, attentive and professional staff, great parking, beautiful garden. It is not the first time I go to eat as a baptistery, I have been with relatives, with friends and even only with my wife, it is a place that lends itself for every occasion also for weddings or for a romantic intimate dinner. the menu of land is well maintained, so much choice but without exaggerating, excellent meats to the grill, the tordelli, tagliatelle to the mushrooms, potatoes to the oven, without speaking of the appetizers, all excellent in quantity and quality. of course great attention to the anti covid norms, clean room. "Locale in una piazzetta di uno sperduto paesino nelle colline sopra la Viareggio, che fa della tipicità del posto il suo punto di forza.Siamo andati una domenica, col locale piuttosto affollato e la prima cosa che ci ha colpito è che il COVID, in questo ristorante, è come se non fosse mai esistito: nessuno portava la mascherina. Quanto al cibo è di discreta qualità: buono l'antipasto tipico toscano (salumi, crostini e formaggio), buoni i tortelli caserecci, accettabile il fritto misto (perché un po' bruciacchiato), buona la polenta con coniglio in umido, decisamente da migliorare le tagliatelle ai funghi: completamente insipide e slegate col sugo, pasta troppo grossa (sembravano tutto, tranne che tagliatelle). Le porzioni sono più che sufficienti. Il servizio è piuttosto lento.Quello che, invece, è del tutto fuori luogo è il prezzo, più da ristorante in città che da trattoria di paese (perché di questo si tratta): a testa (dall'antipasto al secondo, senza dolce) sono veramente sproporzionati, considerando anche che la scelta è limitata alle tipiche pietanze da trattoria (tortelli, fettuccine ai fungi, risotto, tagliatelle al cinghiale, tagliata, filetto, ecc.… ecc.. E' vero, i prezzi sono esposti prima di entrare, come richiede la legge: questo però non toglie che siano veramente esagerati. E non è che poi, arrivato lì, con tutta la strada percorsa, torni indietro perché all'ingresso leggi i prezzi… ti adegui; ma con la convinzione che, con la stessa cifra, avresti potuto pranzare in locali ben più titolati e anche migliori dal punto di vista qualitativo."
