"the best filet what can exist. we stood yesterday in front of the restaurant savarin in bad dürkheim. the boards attached to the outside walls have awakened our curiosity. the window benches full of originals made a lot of sense. we are very friendly, courteously received and brought to a table that was covered with tablecloths and fabric napkins made of pure silk, square plate made of crystal glass, orchid, silverware and candle. a covered table as in the fairytale country. We were presented a large plate full of noble fish from sea to long. we chose 4x for the bisonfilet. We have ordered a mix of pfifferlings, crimps, oyster mushrooms, truffles, roses, and ginseng. we were properly done and speechless how juicy tender and tasty can be a filet. also the mushroom pan was a dense sauce for bisonfilt a medicine. the price? for about 200 gramm bisonfilet is simply required here only € 35.90. we were allowed to taste 4 red wines at the table for free. we chose wdp lateburgunder from rheingau/ kloster eberbach . 1/4 liter of it cost only € 7.90 almost a gift or? we were more than enthusiastic and have reserved a table for all of us for the 16th of October. for this evening we will bring a lot of time to accept the fish offer. great host, exemplary service, super ambiente, grandiose kitchen klaus aus heidelberg"

"Wir sind an einem Freitagabend rein zufällig in der Dorfschänke gelandet, weil die uns empfohlenen beiden anderen Restaurants im alten Stadtteil Seebach bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt waren. Und wir sind froh, bei Herrn Maurer und seiner Ehefrau gelandet zu sein. Hier kocht die Chefin, bedient und metzgert der Chef. Er bereitet nicht nur Fleisch und Wurst selbst vor sondern überrascht auch mit handgemachter Pasta.Ehrliche Handarbeit in der Vorbereitung der Speisen, klasse Umsetzung und launige Bedienung lassen den Abend kurzweilig vergehen. Das Essen wäre einfach grandios. Die Mischung der Karte ist vorzüglich umgesetzt. Wir hatten den Antipastiteller mit einer großartig abgestimmte Vinegrete. Das Cordon Bleu verdiente ebenso nur Bestnoten wie der pfälzische Teller, von dem ich auch noch genießen konnte, weil meine Frau nicht alles schaffte. Gute Weinauswahl - vor allem stimmt hier auch das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Egal wo man in Bad Dürkheim nächtigt, der Weg hinaus lohnt sich. Klar muss man - wenn es voller ist - Wartezeiten hinnehmen, weil die Chefin ganz allein in der Küche steht. Aber wenn ich essen gehe bringe ich Zeit mit und schaue nicht auf die Minute. Für uns mit das Beste, was wir seit langem außerhalb genossen haben. Und wir gehen gerne sehr gut essen! Danke an die beiden Inhaber!"

At the narrow market street, which leads to a small market place and at which the market bay is located, is not to think of parking at all and the market place would be clear to us at the local date, full on Saturday with market stands and market cars, which was then also the case. to place my car on a paid parking space just released. The parking ticket machine was well hidden and therefore not easy to find out, but I had literally opened it. The roasted baguette slices were cut too thick for me; a bite was not possible, breaking down. I would have liked to have made a better assessment for the food sector; the bad rust roast meat prevents this and so I do not get beyond two and a half stars even when looking at it. Conclusion: In principle, we liked it well in the marketplace; However, if we had chosen to decide between the Dürkheimer Fass and the Marktschänke, the barrel clearly went out as winner. P.S.
