eating is not bad at all, but the prices are quite steep for the quality provided. also they close on Sunday evening dinner, which is not helpful.

we visited the restaurant during a trip through Germany. we were in the hotel above the restaurant and were too tired to find another place. the menu was rich and the food was good. the service was also friendly and efficient. Everything was good.

Gegessen haben wir ein schönes Dry Aged Steak, welches perfekt gebraten war. Auf zwei Menükarten kann man sich ein 3-Gängemenü für 30 € selbst zusammenstellen, welches auch sehr gut war. Das Restaurant bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir waren heute Abend zum Essen in der Scala. Es war ruhig, 4 weitere Gäste begleiteten uns durch den Abend. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und für einen Spaß zu haben.Wir hatten drei Mal Steak, unterschiedliche Garstufen, unterschiedliche Beilagen. Alles kam rechtzeitig, die Garstufen waren getroffen wie im Kochbuch und die Beilagen einfach frisch und köstlich. Hier bleib kein Wunsch unerfüllt.Dazu gab es einen kräftigen Rotwein, ebenfalls hervorragend empfohlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen - es war einfach fantastisch zu einem angemessenen Preis. Vielen Dank!

I went there on business with a coworker. It was a weekday night. Parking was dicey and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant (not including the bar). Service was slow, and then it got slower, and eventually ground to a hault. It...took 45+ minutes to get another beer. The food was good. On a side note, they have a LARGE window that allows you to see into the kitchen from your table. It would seem like a cool idea, but from where we sat, all you could see was a microwave and a dishwasher (or something like that). It also felt like we were the ones being watched by the kitchen staff, not the other way around. I'd cover up the window if I had as say in the matter. Never going back!

We arrived on a Saturday around 6-ish to stay until the following Friday for business. Neither my partner or I speak German and would not have had time to learn before we were deployed to Chemnitz. Kessy, Mark and Jenz were so very welcoming and...helpful during our entire stay! they would always greet us and chat with us as they had time asking how our day was and if we needed anything or had any plans. I have to admit that it was hard to leave only because of them. We have stayed in many places for weeks at time and have never felt as welcome as we did at the Scala! We enjoyed all the food we ordered and the breakfast buffet was far better than anywhere we have stayed with fresh fruits, me... Ver carta
