Schaukelpferd - Carta

I stayed at the hotel next door and had dinner here. The staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. Whilst not a large menu it was great value and did not disappoint in any way.

We came across the traditional pub restaurant as we met some family in the area. Simple menu, great salads and some delightful wines. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Staff did not speak much English but our order was perfect on delivery.

Had the very best, authentic meal in Braiersbonn, Germany. Wonderful attention to detail of our meals: recommendations ,and wine selection by Suzanne, the chef. Surrounded by visitors and locals. Ask for items not on the menu. Better than meal at local star hotel restaurant. Ver carta

We had a late dinner here as, the kithcen was closed the other places we tried. We had a pizza like dish, which we did not like, it was covered in way to much chese, and served with a salat that was competley drowned in...dressing. We would not recommend eating here, there are alot of other places that are way better. The places in nice enough, but avoid eating here, and just go for a beer.

Next to the Falken Hotel, this pub is an excellent option for those who want to drink a beer or have a good simple dinner for a moderate price. If you go on a Tuesday and want to have dinner inside, you may expect it...to be full, since it only has tables for dinner and the Falken restaurant is usually closed on Tuesdays. With good weather, it also has a terrace. My recommendation is that you try their fladenbrote similar to pizzas, but with the cheese on the top of the rest of the ingredients.

If you go on a Tuesday and want to have dinner inside, you may expect it to be full, since it only has 6 tables for dinner and the Falken restaurant is usually closed on Tuesdays. We were looking for some traditional German food in a cosy environment, and we found it! „Schaukelstuhl“ offered us the perfect dinner after a day of hiking. For people, one whole Fladenbrot one half Fladenbrot was more than enough. It tasted delicious! The...salad had a little too much sauce, but this is a minor detail. Service was super friendly and welcoming, the drinks (eg Whiskey Sour) were good. In summer you have the opportunity to sit outside. With an inviting Kachelofen it’s also a good place to eat in winter I guess. Thank you Schaukelstuhl, we had a nice time!

We had originally wanted to dine at the Hotel Falken but turned up without a reservation and could not get in (there was of us) but the lady was very helpful and took us round to a near adjoining restaurant which we had initially...dismissed. The staff inside were very helpful and accomadated the children in a small cubicle and us scattered round a quaint triple tiered set of tables. The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were attentive and very helpful. The food selection was limited mainly to flat bread and salads but these were massive portions and the different topped flatbreads you got were a wide selection. The salads were massive as well. I am guessing they don't see many children...
