"Saloon or Steakhaus Santa Fe, this is one and the same restoration in Lübbenauer Neustadt. At the time we had called back from Dresden from the highway and we had reserved a table, all very friendly and uncomplicated. We did not find any problems with the parking spaces here and the signs. What am I supposed to say for the first impression? The exterior seemed to be inviting to me personally, I could not imagine that there should be a rewarding restoration in this hat-like apartment building. After the entrance you could imagine that everything was a bit different, but we all liked the equipment, especially my grandson was very happy with the many shows, wall suspensions... Those who haven't already traveled here because of the peculiarities will be in this complex and the well-functioning western ice rink, which is not just a piece of jewelry, it brings beverages, ice cream,... to the table exactly to the destination, making a very special impression on my grandson. The foods offered did not convince me so much, my Rumpsteak was rather a embarrassing solution, because I did not find what I had dreamed of in a steak house. But it was pretty good and so my wife and the little guest got it too and because we were so easy to say we were completely satisfied and grateful without ordering before You hardly get anything in the area of Lübbenau. Saturated and rested we were able to leave the Steak House again, and we will give them another chance at the next opportunity, I think they deserved this, even if I will not expect high-quality cuisine in the future. "We were there last night and our expectations were really exceeded. A beautiful ambience with great wild-western decorations where you can also look. The waiting period until the food came by as in the flight was also appropriate considering that almost all tables were occupied. The drinks were taken to the table by train. Beverage orders could also be made via the railway, which with always other wagons and different sounds through the table in a volume that allowed quiet discussions at the table. Surely a great experience for children. The food itself was also really excellent. We ordered an XL Bark Steak with kidney beans and wedges as well as a cattle steak with potatoes and mushrooms. The meat quality was really excellent in both dishes, the cooking point was hit exactly as desired. The meat was well seasoned. The champignons were fresh, not from the can. The kidney beans were interesting, apparently prepared with roasted bacon in a delicious, juicy sauce. The wedges were slightly crispy on the outside and inside wonderfully carrot, because not too strongly spiced, which fits well with the other, quite strong other components on the plate. The service was friendly, all ordered foods and drinks came as ordered and at a reasonable time to the table. All in all, a great restaurant with a well-designed concept and a reasonable price-performance ratio, the family with children, couples, but also people who meet in the evening, drink a beer and eat a small snack. We are guaranteed to come back to test ourselves through the equally interesting Burger Card. Greetings to the team and: continue!"

"Wir waren begeistert. Von drei Restaurants, die wir in Lübbenau besucht haben, war das Café Fontane mit Abstand das beste. Das Essen war hervorragend, von Rinderfilet über Nudeln mit Lachs bis zu Gemüsegratin hatten wir viel probiert und alles war wirklich sehr sehr gut. Auch die Kids waren mit Pasta und Plinsen sehr happy. Und zu guter Letzt haben auch die Kuchen sehr überzeugt. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und charmant, was nicht zwingend unsere typische Erfahrung in Lübbenau war. Und sowohl draußen wie drinnen sitzt man sehr gemütlich. Wir waren zweimal in 4 Tagen dort essen und haben sogar eine andere Reservierung gecancelt, weil wir gerne noch einmal hingehen wollten. Das sagt im Prinzip alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"During our tour through the Spreewald there was a feeling of hunger. The first restaurant in Lübbenau, a Greek had closed because the holiday was announced. There should be a pizzeria nearby, so we went on the way. The first impression, a restaurant located directly at the station, well, just try out, were my thoughts. A large terrace on the main road, well maintained, there were only a few guests, but it was also shortly before 4 pm. A very nice waiter picked up the beverage order, brought it very quickly and we ordered our dishes. There were band noodles with mushrooms and fillet tips and for me a salad with tuna and sheep cheese was ordered. NIcht long and it was served. My salad, crispy, cool iceberg salad, with lots of tuna, cucumbers, tomatoes sheep cheese and delicious with vinegar and oil. The band noodles were also consumed with pleasure. With drinks we paid 45€ for 3 people Every meal at the price of 9.90€ In the meantime, the terrace filled and was almost full. I was very satisfied, the waiter, maybe the owner had told me about his concerns about the corona numbers. We felt very comfortable in this restaurant. The toilets are unfortunately not barrier-free when the path is chosen by the restaurant, but I have seen a rear entrance, it would also be the possibility for disabled people to visit the village. The establishment of the restaurant well maintained, the toilets clean. The first impression was somewhat distorted, through the location directly at the station. The surprise was completely successful. At any time, I'd eat here at a visit."

"Spontaneous stop after the visit of the Automated Gas Station in Lübbenau. On the way, my wife had seen the restaurant on the right side, and on the way back we parked on the private parking lot on the left of the house. In the beer garden a few guests, over 30°C did not sit in the restaurant. The cards were taken quickly, but the agony of choice was rather big. There are many delicious dishes on it, mainly regional Spreewald specialties, but also Schnitzel. My wife ordered potato p lens with applesa, we say buffer. Knidle are, by the way, potatoes. I ordered the garlic oil-fried prawn skewer with salad, foil potato and sour jar. A spruce forest cucumber plate. Since there was no regional beer, I ordered a Pfälzer Kerner White Wine from the Nahe, my wife a quiet water from Bad Liebenwerda. There was tasty lard and bread. The drinks were good, the dishes were very good, the service friendly. Prices: cucumber plate 4,50 €, plens 5,50 €, shrimp spear 10,90 €. Water €2.15, wine €4.40 Prices here on the main road considerably cheaper than at the Kahnhafen. Why here Herforder beer is offered, probably remains a mystery, Brandenburg and Saxony also have delicious beers. I can still understand Erdinger Wheat. Overall good 4 stars."
