Schmidt Bakery And Cafe

Very busy cafe, but good food: cheeseburger with roasted potatoes, red-pepper soup with sour cream, spaghetti bolognese, mango sunday.

We enjoyed our dinner here. The menu has a lot of offerings. Would be great for kids because of such a variety. Huge portions and reasonably priced. Servers were super sweet and spoke English very well.

We come to bakery and order a pizza, get it when ready, take a table and finish our meal. Go back to the counter and they will not serve us desert now, you need to use a waitress to order. Apparently at 6:00... they change, a little strange. The food was good. Ver carta

After staying at the hotel next door this place was convenient. Ended up eating here several times from the bakery and restaurant. Food was fresh, with a good variety to choose from. The menu had lots to choose from, and everything I had for appetizers, mains and deserts were all good.

In the HIX hotel they have no restaurant but the Schmidt Bakery has good food in the afternoon and in the morning you can take sandwiches with you.We were there two times and the last time we found out that after 18.00 it is a normal restaurant. We surely will come backand we can advice everyone to eat there.

Well, I was a night in the hotel next to Schmidts and this hotel has no restaurant. So I got the recommendation for Schmidts. I had a pasta menu with fresh mushrooms (Penne Funghi). Well I had to wait a few minutes, so I was studiyng the weekly menue and figured out that the offer a great variety ...Well, the pasta arrived .... just wonderful and tasty ... Ver carta

Schwabach is a good place to break your journey on the E50 across Germany. The Holiday Inn Express is a pleasant, well priced hotel, but its restaurant is limited. This doesn't matter, though, because this cafe is only a couple of doors away. The food is simple and hearty, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and efficient. They even found a waitress who spoke English, to save us struggling with German. There is a baker's shop in the same building, so if you don't fancy a cooked meal, you should be able to find something to eat. If we're in this location again, we'll certainly go back to this cafe.
