"Prenzlauer Berg is packed with either tourist traps or real restaurants and bars, and you can guess which group of this place belongs to a number of stars... It looked like they didn't want a customer at that time of the day, I was the only... In early afternoon, in April, place was full with already dusty Easter sad buns and gummy eggs in plastic straw. Gray Easter anyway... I found the place on the map as I am carved and the place near my hotel was. I wanted to get in the wrong door first. There were two men outside in front of the restaurant. It turned out that one of them was a waiter who wanted to serve me and the other was a delivery man. It seemed like I interrupted them in an unpleasant moment, and when they realized that I wanted to come in, the deliveryman showed me the way to another door through his middle finger. I came in anyway. Maybe I imagined things. When the waiter (who turned out to be another man) finally approached my table (and I waited for a while, although I was just a customer in the premise), he only smiled to discover yellow teeth and meet with his cigarette breath. So is the place for carving lovers as you can see through the menu. Too many dishes is always bad sign (some scavengers are simply ridiculous in recipes), but I was hungry and had another business to visit in the evening (no time for finding another food), so I decided to give it an attempt and believe that these two guys were just casual scissors. I ordered carving and baked goat cheese with beer jam and design beer. The beer was not cold enough, which means when you reach half the glass, it is almost lukewarm. Grilled cheese was served as you can see on the picture: not quite bad, but as in a cheap hotel for breakfast, and was carving too thick, and crust of bread crumb was moist and torn in some places. Meat was cooked more than fried. How the scavenger was held in plastic bag after he was deeply fried. I just stayed in the restaurant during the whole meal. I was grateful that the waiter was not too attentive. When it was time to pay the bill, I had to call the waiter and pay in cash, but the nicotine waiter had no smaller notes for the change, then I decided to round the bill and give him a tip, and he had no sufficient banknote. I had to dig into my wallet to find the amount that didn't ask him to come back to the cash register. It felt like I'd beged in this restaurant, it was like they had to pay me for the visit, not vice versa."
