Food took ages despite being pre-ordered. When we wanted desert at 10pm on a Saturday the kitchen was shut already. There are much better traditional places in Frankfurt.

A great Frankfurt food and drink location. One of the best, if not the best "frankfurter schnitzel" (washed down with a weissbier). Friendly staff and always a great crowd!

I visited this place with a couple of friends last week and I was pretty excited! The crowd is very friendly and i'm in love with the food especially with the 'Frankfurter Schnitzel mit grüner Soße'! It's excellent and the room is so relaxed. I advice this place ! Ver carta

If you want those three things in a very relaxed environment with lovely staff to serve them up on wobbly tables then this is your joint. Food is hearty and tasty. Great place to meet old pals or to take a team of colleagues to blow off some steam. Most convivial.

Was taken here by a local and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the delicious apple wine. To me it seemed like the real deal of traditional Frankfurt restaurants, without any tourists expect for myself. Also, the waiters were very friendly. Would recommend to a friend!

Went there with couple of friends to enjoy some German food&beer. We went there a bit too early and place was not open yet but staff still showed us in and allowed to order. We followed the recommendations and took schnitzel and sides and that was plentiful&tasty. Visited this place with the company/by suggestion of a couple of friends from Frankfurt that are in a neverending quest for the best Schnitzel mit Grüner Soße in town. In their opinion, there's no better option. I dont have so much experience in that field, but I was very satisfied having dinner here, and enjoying the Apfelwein, Handkäs‘ mit Musik, Butter und Brot and of course, Frankfurters. I loved all dishes and drinks. Sitting outside was very pleasant too, and the service was simple and efficient.

Competition among "traditional German restaurants" in Frankfurt is quite tuff, and this restaurant did not win me. The menu is a bit disappointing - not many choices, especially among the 'traditional' options. Quality was good, but nothing impressive. The Apfelwein is quite standard, and at least my impression was that it is not of their own production.Also the ambience was not fully convincing - it maintains some elements typical of German restaurants (like the long table and the unconfy benches) but, hinting at a 'modern' style, it loses that cozy feeling that one would expect.

It is a restaurant with the worst service I have ever seen in Frankfurt.We were four people going there for dinner at 7 p.m.. We made a reservation. But since we were standing at the door and no one was coming to take care of us for at least 5 minutes, we decided to take the table outside the restaurant on our own. In the beginning it seemed like no one noticed us, after 15 minutes we had to call the waitress to order some drinks. That was the 1st time this waitress opened her mouth to talk to us. No greetings, no smile. I told her we made a reservation but is it okay that we just sit here? Since the weather is nice. She gave an indifferent look and said whatever you want. I am already used...
