The tapas here is terrifically tasty, you get quality tapas that is made with a lot of love. Also the wines here (been here twice) are very good, specially the local wines. The service was excellent and you got for what you pay!

¡Fue genial! Comer en ese lugar fue una experiencia de calidad. Todo lo que puedo decir es que hemos encontrado una joya escondida y nos encanta. Durante años, fuimos clientes de la bodega Sensaciones y nunca supimos del restaurante.

Great tapas. Authentic dishes. Super quality. Menu in Spanish but the waiter spoke some English if required. We translated/ guessed and ended up with a lovely bottle of Cava, cold meats, cheese selection prawns. A light meal but hit the spot perfectly.

Estuvo bien, pero no fue lo que esperábamos. Habíamos leído los comentarios y visto las fotos, y cuando estuvimos allí nos dimos cuenta de que no podíamos pedir muchas cosas porque la administración había cambiado y creo que era caro para lo que recibimos.

Cozy local place with a personal touch of wonderful tapas as well as great Spanish wine in the city centre near to the beach. Fair priced and much more authentic than the beach tourist restaurants. Limited English, but OK to complete the experience. Not suitable...for kids under 15 I would say.

tiene un pequeño menú de tapas, filete de knochen y pescado del día. las tapas tenían una muy buena calidad y todo sabía genial. el pez del día era turbot, pero recuerda pedir agradable o ir con él cuando... fue servido solo. es una buena oportunidad para practicar su español. Aunque el propio restaurante es bastante pequeño, también hay asientos fuera. el personal es muy amable y amable, y aunque no hay vista al mar, no nos decepcionó porque comer es muy bueno y definitivamente volveremos a nuestra visita a España.

He pasado muchas veces por este lugar escondido en la esquina de la plaza detrás de Flanagan's en mi camino hacia y desde Mercadona. Esta es la primera vez que se nos ocurrió reservar una mesa y no nos decepcionó. Estas eran tapas gourmet,... jibia, mollejas en una deliciosa reducción de setas y mejillones a la marinera entre otros platos inusuales para tapas. El vino era bueno y el servicio servicial y atento. Éramos cuatro y les pedimos que nos sirvieran su menú completo de ocho platos de tapas. Una velada encantadora. ¡Sensacions cumple con su nombre! Merece la pena probarlo.

I was here a few times a couple of years ago, when staying in El Campello and loved the tapas here, so this time I took the tram from Alicante just so as I could check it out again around lunchtime. It was a Wednesday...and sign on door says opens at midday, but no sign of life 12:20. I went for a stroll and came back about 12:40 and chairs were being arranged outside. I tried a few different taps and the highlight was one of the tostas called Mallorquina. It was Sobrasada (a thin layer of spreadable sausage meat) toasted and on top of that was a slice of brie.On top of that again was some honey with walnut pieces on top. As you bite through it, you experience 4 different tastes and textures...

My daughter and her husband visited this gourmet tapas bar first. They raved about their meal and returned the next evening. Apparently my son in law was struck dumb by the experience of eating the delicious pork tenderloin. Our holiday was coming to an end...but we too had to visit! The position does not have the wow factor of the beachfront, tucked to the side of the Mercadona supermarket. There are outside tables and a couple more inside. It is clear that this bodega/restaurant is a labour of love. The owner is clearly passionate about wine and hugely informative. He does not speak much English but hand gesticulations and his enthusiasm communicate quite well. My son in law had already br...
