"What a desappointment ! We went there with a couple of friends. We arrived at the scheduled time and were greeted properly. Once seated, on two occasions, the waiter made allusions to our ages (my husband and myself to our friends and told them verbatim: Ah, you parked the old people in the corner! Then a second sentence that I didn 't remember. Seriously !?!? What a statement for a man of service. Anyway next. We arrived at 7 p.m. (well yes, we want to eat early, we are old . The waiter brought us our appetizers, and we placed an order for 2 venison saddles. Tick tock, tick tock, time passes and still no bowel movements in sight. Maybe they went hunting? Time passes, and no one comes to see us. Fortunately, with our friends, our exchanges are rich and intense and we do not see the time passing. After an hour and a half, yes, yes, at 8:30 p.m., the waiter comes to see us to tell us that in the kitchen, they had a computer problem "

"The trip to Anières can be made by (infrequent )bus, or by car.There is a convenient underground public parking 3min.walk from Le Cottage ! You hardly see the inn as you approach it...it is almost hidden behind a hedge which hides a nice, shady...terrace The reception is courteous and friendly, in the traditional low key swiss manner.Sitting in the shade of a tree or a sunshade you relax with a cool glass of chasselas ,a wine while you peruse the menu.Of course there are the traditional filets de perche, the genuine ones, not the ones imported from Hungary or Baltic countries..but whatever is on offer on the slender but well conceived menu is worth your attention, including the venison during the autumnal season (la chasse).After a good meal taste their desserts before leaving for a stroll through the village and the countryside.You'll come back if you have the occasion to do so !"

"The Le Floris restaurant offers a fabulous setting with its garden and view of the lake. The veranda is well designed and functional, which undeniably adds to the overall experience. However, I must express my disappointment with the festive atmosphere that the new owners wanted to recreate, in the style of Parisian restaurants. Unfortunately, this is not reflected at all in the atmosphere of the restaurant. One of the major problems that I have noticed is the excessive number of personnel changes, whether at the level of the chef or the waiters. This instability can affect the consistency and quality of the dishes offered. Although the cuisine aims to be contemporary and new, I found that this lacked success and did not justify the prices charged. It's a real shame, because Le Floris is an iconic place with a rich history, but unfortunately, that history has lost its luster. In conclusion, although Le Floris benefits from a magnificent setting with its garden and its view of the lake, I am disappointed to note that the festive atmosphere sought is not there. The numerous changes in staff and the cuisine which fails to live up to expectations do not justify the prices charged. I sincerely hope that improvements will be made to restore this place to its former glory."
