Great to eat in 'The Library ' where our dog was allowed to join us he stayed on the floor rather than having a seat to himself!

We had a lovely family party for our Aunt’s 90th Birthday celebration at the weekend. The team at Sherbrooke were fantastic, and looked after us superbly, and the food was delicious. Absolutely recommend!

Terrible experience!! Stay away if there is a wedding on! Arrived on Easter Sunday for dinner and was advised that restaurant didn’t open until 6pm. At 6pm we tried to order food and we’re advised that they wouldn’t be able to serve us for dinner until 8pm. Meanwhile between 5pm and 6pm we were offered menus to choose. Waiting 4 hours for dinner is crazy with very little communication from staff. Staff were unhelpful and avoided talking to us at any point. Big let down!! Ver carta

The castle is located in a wonderful area of Glasgow, with wonderful houses and gardens. The castle itself is a dream! With tartan carpeted floors and an interieur that is simply mind-blowing. The staff was very friendly, both the lads who were our waiters in the restaurant were exceptionally nice and made us feel very welcome. Yann is a treasure. The food is unbelievably tasty, made with lots of love and arranged beautifully. I wish we had stayed longer, we'd have definitely gone for dinner here again. The highlight of our stay in Scotland!

The restaurant was smaller than anticipated and required climbing a large hill to reach. Despite this, it was charming and cozy. It would be delightful to sit outside in the outdoor area during the summer. The junior suite we stayed in was spacious. The bed and pillows were firm, but suitable for those who prefer it that way. The bathroom was large with a shower and bathtub, although guests should bring their own toiletries as only small ones are provided. The room service menu was limited, but the food at the restaurant was tasty, and the staff was friendly. The rooms were serviced daily and both the hotel and rooms were kept warm. Visited today with my daughter for afternoon tea. Disappointed overall with food and service. We were seated and ordered our champagne, within minutes the food was brought to our table. We had not discussed what type of tea we would prefer or if we had any dietary requirements. We had to ask to change the egg sandwiches and request Assam tea. The tea was delivered but we had a long wait for the sandwiches. When we came to taste the scones, they were brick hard with a white bloom inside which indicates staleness. They were taken away to be replaced. The tea was now cold by this time but not once were we asked if we would like some fresh. Overall a disappointing visit, only 2 staff serving and... Ver carta

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks during our trip home to visit family, and the hospitality we received from the staff was superb. Collette at the front desk was friendly and always met us with a smile and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She booked us into a Garden Suite room, which was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant is open all day, so you can always get a bite to eat if you're hungry, and the food was lovely. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, especially Yann, who took extra good care of us during our stay. I had the most amazing experience at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel for my wedding on 23rd March 2024. From the moment we arrived, the hotel made us feel so welcome and special. The events team was incredibly helpful during our 13-month planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our guests feel loved and welcomed. Our Wedding Planner, William, was absolutely fantastic and treated us like royalty the whole weekend. I attended a wonderful wedding reception with dear friends and the day was perfect apart from one small niggle!!! After a beautiful meal, our waiter was serving tea and coffee to our table and when I asked if I could have a cup of green tea instead, I was informed that he was only serving breakfast tea and that I couldn’t have green tea. When I asked him again if it was possible, he motioned with his head and stated I should go to the bar area and find one there. I left my table in pursuit of the nodded direction and came to reception whereby I asked the pleasant young lady where I could find a cup of green tea.
