"We stopped for lunch at this pub on a Saturday. We were warmly greeted and seated in a lovely room. All the waiters and waitresses were extremely kind and professional. We ordered a few starters, including the delicious camembert, which we shared with hot bread and homemade onion chutney. I had chicken and chorizo, while my wife had sea bass and my daughter had the traditional scampi and chips. The chicken with its chorizo-flavored sauce was delicious, as was the freshness of my wife's sea bass, and my daughter's scampi had those crispy chips on the outside and soft inside, and she enjoyed them a lot. all washed down with a good Sicilian Nero d'Avola which went perfectly with our food. Not to forget the desserts, which are classic pub desserts, but they are homemade, so you can spot the quality of the ingredients. We are waiting for another occasion to try the Sunday roast, which I heard is good too. Thank you so much for making our day."

Stayed at whitemead campsite and went for meal there lovely food along with great real ales.. Friendly atmosphere and we won a raffle prize too.. Recommended!

Haven't been to the ship since I was a child came on holiday went to the ship and as always five star my husband and me had there ploughman's absolutely delicious good choice of real ales and a very warm welcome would totally recommend to anyone that goes that way x

the ship gas house has everything, decent parking a garden that their children can play in safe, dog friendly, a warm welcome, great staff that they know when they eat here they will eat everything on their teller, all that I can say to people when they are in the will, they give this gas house a try, they are done for more well done sam and his coworkers
