A fantastic golf course set in a beautiful part of Yorkshire, a true gem. Hospitality great and the course in pristine condition with greens that are so demanding. Will be back next year for sure.

Attended a family wedding. Very attractive setting. Available staff very good. Food served and table service was very good. Unsure who organised the DJ but virtually all guests avoided it as it was too loud.

Had an absolutely amazing night last night at the ABBA tribute. The food was excellent, the duo was fantastic, and the DJ played all the best songs, getting everyone up on their feet dancing. Will definitely be booking again. Great job, Alice, you are a superstar! Ver carta

I attended a formal event at the golf club, which was my first time there in about 15 years. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. The only downside was that you needed to go up an outer staircase to access the clubhouse, as I didn't see another way in. The meal was decent, but it may have been limited by the choices made by the event organizers. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the facilities were excellent.

Nathan, the manager, was incredibly helpful even after closing time when our car rental broke down. We hadn't requested rental clubs when booking, but he quickly gathered some from the basement when his other two sets were already reserved. I can't recommend this lovely course enough. It offers unique features, like holes that crisscross like a runway on an Alistair McKenzie-designed course. Players can even experience the original Amen Corner. This is a must-play course at a fantastic price!

Our family met up at the golf club for lunch and to listen to the live music on a Sunday afternoon.The music was brilliant just the right volume so you can hear it but still have a conversation without shouting.The food was outstanding well presented and just unbelievable could not fault it and the waitresses where fantastic could not do enough for you polite and always smiling a credit to the club and the view whilst eating was overlooking the course all in all would highly recommend this place Ver carta

This golf club is excellent. I enjoy playing here as the course is in great condition from tee to green. However, the pace of play was a bit slow due to a four ball group having issues with their buggy, which delayed our round. Despite this, I am excited to play here again in the future. I was surprised that there was no special menu for seniors, unlike other events I have attended. I found the prices at the clubhouse to be inflated, with a ham sandwich being small and overpriced at £18.50 for lunch. As a result, we chose not to stay for dinner.

This is the third year our group has had a celebration lunch. Last year it was excellent but this year it fell very short. In general the tables were well set and looked festive but the food left a lot to be desired. The vegetables were cold and undercooked, partly due to their large size and slow service. The vegetarian vegan option was Moroccan chick pea pie which looked like a pork pie served whole on a plate with some cream drizzled around. The pastry was hard to cut but the inside was tasty. No attempt at presentation was made and no accompaniment apart from the cold vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding was a large slab of very sweet, sickly pudding coated in what appeared to be carame...

Had the most perfect send off at Shipley Golf club for my mum Rita Trickett on Sat 19th March 2022 Their Beckfoot suite is lovely, and their lounge has plenty of tables and chairs. It also has a spacious terrace with fabulous views of their green so we could sit outside. Alice Beeley was amazing and made sure every requirement was met, nothing fazed her even when 6 guests had to drop out with 2 days’ notice, she really is a superstar. She arranged to have 2 tables to make 1 large Memory table to display the flowers, plus framed photos, and a memory book for friends to sign. Their Bar had everything you could want, great service from their friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Their Buff... Ver carta
