We regularly go to The Lodge as a family. The staff are friendly and efficient and the carvery meall very tasty, with an excellent choice of vegetables. The desserts are scrumptious and it’s hard to choose just one! Many thanks to the team for some lovely afternoons/evenings out.

Went to the lodge for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I have been there many times and as always the food was beautiful, the staff efficient friendly and cheerful, and the atmosphere created very fitting for the celebration. This restaurant is fantastic. The food and service are both excellent. The venue is lovely and they have their own carpark. The staff are well-mannered and helpful, making it kid-friendly. They are also wheelchair friendly and offer dine-in services for dinner. I would rate the food as a 5 out of 5.

Well got to give this place a 11 out of 10 . Don't expect any major refinery. This is good honest Sunday roast the target audience is definitely mature . Went for mum in laws birthday lunch so large group 13 14 . The service was brilliant so a big thankyou if your reading!! the front of house gentleman was very professional did over his brief . Food was fantastic in quality , portion size and value for money . I can honestly say this was as good if not better than places we've payed over £50 a head .
