Heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try. Staff very attentive, food well presented and delicious. The complimentary expresso martini afterwards was well received. My only very tiny criticism was there could have been a little more light in the restaurant it was a little dark my photos would have been better too thank you Shukurs for a lovely evening Price per person: £30–40

I ordered a take out of lamb jalfrezi and keema nan (order 1723746003000) and the food was delicious. My family also dined in and enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere. I dropped two stars because (a) I crunched on a piece of ceramic in the curry as per the photo and (b) they took my phone number during the order and the next day I started receiving marketing messages without giving my opt-in permission, in contravention to GDPR law. The bad bit first. On Friday and Saturday even if you book you will wait probably well beyond the booking time. If that's intolerable book for an another night. Once seated service is excellent. Food is brilliant, everything tastes, the saag aloo and lamb rogan josh stand out but it's all fab. It maybe a little underspiced for some but you taste every ingredient. If you want a hot curry challenge go elsewhere. It can be a bit noisy, this place is packed. Extensive drinks list. So top rate curry for those who like taste, wide choice of drinks and great service once seated. Just packed to the rafters and slow to get a table, and that loses it the star, not the food.
