We made a same-day reservation through OpenTable and arranged for a babysitter for our two children. We traveled to North London, only to find that the restaurant was closed with its roller shutters down! It was an especially busy night for restaurants, as London had implemented tier 3 restrictions, making it challenging to find a decent table. Ultimately, we ended up dining somewhere else, but it felt like a waste of £130.

We made a same-day reservation through Open Table, arranged for a babysitter for our two kids, and took the train to North London, only to arrive and find the restaurant closed with the shutters down! It was a particularly busy night for dining since London was entering Tier 3 lockdown at midnight, making it difficult to find a decent table elsewhere. We did manage to eat somewhere, but in the end, it felt like a wasted £130. Quite frustrating.
