"Visited last Saturday with Friend, Looked very inviting from the front of shop. We ordered Cheese Sandwich cup of Tea, Bacon Sandwich coffee was asked if I wanted Sauce. We politely requested Hot drinks be served with meal. Hence didnt happen. Even worse my friends Cheese was cut so thick, No Cup of Tea arrived at all. Was charged £9.50 for Bacon Sandwich with few broken crisps on the side??? The pot of sauce was enough to decorate 6 sandwiches, although tasted tangy Cheap. My friend was charged £8.10 for a Cheese Sandwich that looked like a 2yr old had cut the Cheese! She returned to young ladies, explained service was not acceptable, Some of the girls were so rude for want of better word down right Ignorant. Even worse tried to give her refund for Cup of tea price Only! Will not return again, as when i brought it to the ladies attention on the till, she gave an excuse that they had been very busy. She actually said come back during the week its run by Adult people, the service is good. Confirms my thoughts these girls sadly have little or No training. Not opposed to paying decent price for food but this was a Total Rip Off! Would most definitely Not recommend at all. I wouldnt have even given 1 star but in order to leave review you have to at least leave 1."

Had lunch here today. Brilliant cafe. Food good and reasonably priced. CD's, vynil, pictures, books all for sale. Would recommend a visit and I defy anyone not to find a cd or record to buy and enjoy a coffee and snack at the same time.

We have visited this cafe several times and it never fails to supply great cakes and piping hot coffee. We walk regularly from Wickford to Billericay, just short of an eight mile hike, so it is a welcome pit stop. Lovely staff, they always have a smile and make us feel welcome.

An absolute gem in Billericay! We found this cafe by chance as it said it is dog friendly and came across the most amazing venue which not only offers great drinks and food but brilliant service, dogs are indeed welcome and there is also a gift shop and record/CD store! What's not to love? Ver carta

I always walk past this place but never thought to go inside. I read some reviews that it does gluten free snacks so we tried it out with my two weeks. It was so lovely inside and goes so far back. We had gluten free cakes and sat out in the garden area with the dogs. They brought over some free treats for the dogs which they loved. It was so lovely! Will definitely be returning.

Im exiled Billericay boy now living in the West Country. I remember as a lad when Slipped Discs was at the very end of Billericay High St before its current location. It was great back then and the combination of the Coffee Shop really works well. Lovely people , great quality food and a great relaxing venue. I always make a point of dropping in when I come back to visit Billericay. Ver carta

Came here with my partner for a quick coffee whilst passing through the high-street. Very quirky, unique place with a super chilled vibe. Lots of people on a solo visit. It’s a cafe that also sells old records and CDs. Dog friendly. Super friendly staff and quick service. Their regular latte is more like a small. We didn’t eat but the food looked great, although it seemed slightly over priced. Also, the decor could do with being updated. But I would be happy to visit again.

What a huge disappointment; we travelled from Southend as in the past this cafe has been amazing. Today we were served by numerous teenage girls who , unfortunately, didn 't have a clue! A smoked salmon salad consisted of a few salad leaves, sliced tomato and cucumber on a plate; squashed slices of avocado 'chucked ' on the plate with a chunk of smoked salmon (unseparated slices). A toasted cheese and ham sandwich was medicore; a jcket potato with prawns was served with no more than 4/5 prawns. Our coffees were served cold with more in the saucer than the cup...we had to ask for clean saucers and napkins...znd cutlery. An elderflower drink was completely forgotten and we needed to ask for it...

"The Restaurant was a great find. Went there as a party of 3 for my birthday lunch treat today. The lunch menu has limited number of dishes compared to the evening one but are very well balanced. I have never seen kadhi chaval and channa jor garam on a uk restaurant menu, so well done for being so original. The restaurant is located nearest carpark 2, so best to park there. The restaurant decor has many traditional Rajisthani puppets hanging high above the restaurant entrance, nice touch. We ordered 3 starters (Street food) which we shared, they had the correct balance of sweet, hot and sour tastes, although I did compliment mine with additional tamrind, chilli and coriander sauces. We ordered different versions of the Thali. This was impressive indeed. The variety of items, presentation, flavour, temperature and amount of food served in the thali (the circular stinless steel plate) was perfection itself. Every dish had its own traditional Rajisthani unique flavour, could not fault it. Thank you Sohan for your personal courtesy you showed us, the table you had reserved for us, my birthday wishes and for having created a truely great, clean, restaurant with a memorable menu. This was amongst the very best food I have ever had, a great birthday feast. It was a true gastronomic delight for my tastebuds. The restaurant is now firmly on my agenda, a great find indeed. Recommended"

"My husband and I have been regular visitors to this restaurant over the years and never had anything to complain about, so when my husband booked for my Birthday with my family (6 adults and 2 children) we were all really looking forward to a lovely Sunday late lunch/early dinner. Our table was booked for 4.30 and we all arrived on time and were shown to our table straight away. We all ordered pre dinner drinks whilst choosing from the Sunday menu. All of our starters were lovely, including the prawn cocktail and the soup, however unfortunately we cannot say the same for the mains.....3 x beef, which of the two slices were fatty and rather tough, the roast potatoes were very very hard and tough and very difficult to cut through, the Yorkshire puddings were burnt and really quite inedible and the gravy, already on the plate, was very thin and watery. My husband had the lamb shoulder which was extremely dry. Vegetables were served to the table and consisted of carrots, parsnips and large slices of onion and swede mash, not a green vegetable in sight. We also had a bottle of wine which we continued to pour ourselves throughout our meal.......in the 'old days ' the wine was always poured for us! It was plain to see when we were 'finished ' eating our meals that there was so much left on our plates as not one of us enjoyed the dinner at all and it was all very dissapointing, hence we all turned down the offer of dessert, although my grandson ordered the kids brownie and ice cream which he enjoyed! Overall our visit was really really disappointing and sorry to say we left the restaurant all saying the same.....we will not be visiting again soon!"
