Solche Cilician - Carta

My pizza was good and my wife enjoyed her tasty soup. The broad bean starter was also very nice. The service was excellent and we will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant often disappoints. The music is too loud during lunch and the building work next door adds to the noise. The service is slow and although the food is not bad, it is not great either.

The restaurant had slow and disrespectful staff, extremely high prices, and slow service. We waited half an hour for a shish kebab and at least ten minutes for our drinks, which were left on the side the whole time. The beer selection was poor. Have previously visited this restaurant on many occasions and absolutely loved it but on a recent visit the portion sizes seemed much smaller and therefore overpriced. £22.50 for hummus between 10, a main and a beer is not good value especially when there are so many great Turkish food options in the Hackney area. Sorry Solche but unless you up your game we won't be coming back.

Service was OK at the beginning but than we had to ask for water and after we finished eating we waited 20 minutes with empty plates. The waiter could not care less, we asked for the bill which it was on the table in a second but we still had dirty plates in front of us and it was very clear we had finished. We had hummus to start with which it was too garlicky and the bread was cold and old . To follow by we had a wrap which it was delicious.

Extremely bad service went there twice; first experience: we ordered extra chips it arrived once food was finished, no bread given, full english breakfast plate was half empty, second experience: empty plate compared to all other places I had breakfast, egg looked wrong, too expensive compared to what we were given, no good customer service, haoulimi wrap was just a bread and cheese, drinks were too sour as if I had lemon juice to drink although we ordered smothie... not going again... We went here two nights while staying in London. The first night was great, awesome food and nice service. Then the second night which was our last night in London, we were blown away. My girlfriend was literally in tears of happiness while eating the meal (we had the mixed meze, margarita pizza and izgara grilled lamb) and the manager recommend us places to go in Turkey (which we followed) and surprised us with complimentary Turkish coffees to finish. We walked out beaming, it was better than any of the Turkish food we had in Turkey.

We went in here on the first really sunny day of the year. Broadway Market was packed and this was one of the only places we could actually get a table. The other restaurants in the area had waiting times of up to 45 mins. We sat down and had to wait for menus, eventually we got up and got one ourselves. After 15 minutes of waiting no one had coe to take our order. We went to request a waiter and the waiter behind the bar laughed and said someone would be with us soon. We waiting another 5 minutes and still no waiter!! We decided to leave as the service was so poor and they seemed to really not care about us! As we were leaving one of th waiters half heartedly apologised but it was too late....

I have been here twice, the second visit will be my last one. First time I went with my partner and had breakfast the quality of the food was ok but not worth the price. The service and the overall atmosphere weren't great either, e.g. drinks arrived at random times with no explanation, and nobody asked us whether everything was ok or if we wanted anything else.Second time took the extended family out 6 people in total . Although it was a Saturday, the inside of the restaurant was half empty, so we got seated straight away. Our table ordered both hot and cold drinks, and food.
