Walton Park - Carta

Rooms were dated and non air-conditioned, they only had fans and it was pretty warm during the day when I was there. The staff were awesome though and friendly.

This hotel was absolutely lovely. The view at sunset, looking across to Wales, was breathtaking. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely come back for another stay.

Had a large room with lovely view.wifi wouldn't work, and couldn't make calls. Breakfast ingredients were good but was spoiled by food not being hot and plates being cold. Such a shame. Hotel is a bit tired. It's right next to coastal path but no direct access to it. Ver carta

Situated on a cliff, this restaurant boasts a fantastic location. The lounge bar and dining area offer stunning views of the Bristol Channel. The staff is well-trained and truly enhances the experience. Although the rooms may be a bit outdated, they are spacious and comfortable.

A very pleasant location that has been sympathetically restored, keeping many of the old features of the building, while slightly modernising it for a contemporary experience. Fantastic view overlooking the Bristol Channel. The team were all incredibly helpful. Unfortunately as I was only there for the facilities a chess tournament) I cannot comment on the rooms.

It's a lovely but worn building which could do with updating. Pleasant enough but the lack of phone connection and weak WiFi meant I had to leave the building to make phone calls and send texts so if you are someone who uses your phone a lot, this is not a hotel I would recommend. Generally OK for a quick stop and sleep though. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ver carta

Still recovering from the old fashen coil spring mattress I tried to sleep on.would not recommend Note to the owners top of your list should be offering a good night sleep. As an owner of a modest holiday cottage we have mattress toppers . The pain in my neck and shoulders I was unable to sleep tried to watch the TV but that didn't work. .. An absolute disgrace for the charge

Great location with spectacular views across the Bristol channel. Clean tidy rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Good size double bed and shower room. Plenty of wardrobe and draw space. Simple restaurant food but tasty full English or continental breakfasts available. Plenty of outside seating areas and a great outside venue area. Convenient for country and beachside walks and the sea front.

The room itself was subpar. The corridors had creaky, uneven floorboards that made it feel like we were on a ship. To make matters worse, we had an infestation of woodlice in our room. We spent the entire weekend collecting them from the carpets and our belongings. Staff even had to remove around 30 of them from each light fixture in the bathroom, as they were scuttling around. Every morning, local wildlife would make its presence known on the roof, scratching and wandering about all day, which made it feel like we were staying on a farm. On our first night, we had no hot water and were forced to take cold showers. When we contacted reception, they provided us with a drawn diagram explainin... Ver carta
