Wonderfully light batter on fresh haddock, brilliant chips and excellent home steeped mushy peas. Our waitress Tory was charming and efficient, the upstairs restaurant is very welcoming and a really nice place to be. If only we lived closer."

We visited for a family lunch over Easter and had a lovely meal. Generous portions, tasty range of dishes and they even made garlic bread specially for my son. They gave us a lovely welcome and we really enjoyed our meal.

I often choose fish and chips when dining in a pub, so delighted to find this place providing such good take away fish and chips. Good quality chips, and lovely fish with out too much excess batter. Whenever I go, it always seems to be freshly cooked to order. Staff are all really helpful. Best in the area!
