"Out for an evening drive looking for a country pub, drive through Tadcaster and found this lovely Indian restaurant. We were welcomed by Taz a very pleasant young man who took our order and updated us on the progress. The food was delivered by Mo a very gracious young man and what a delight. The chicken saag was spicy and tasty the chicken sali a delight and the pathia exquisite. The sundries and naan were excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really good made even more welcoming by the delightful staff. I certainly will return, thank you for tasty food."

We had a good experience at Sonali, walking around the town looking for some nosh. They have a good menu, are very friendly and the food was first class. Highly recommended.

This is a small but fully authentic Indian eatery based in tadcaster. Food is very tasty, fresh and served by caring, friendly staff. Give it a try. Not cheap but who wants cheap?

This was a lovely meal and the staff were very friendly. I used to go here a lot when I lived in York many years ago and the quality was as good now as it was then The portion sizes were good too.

we visited the sonali a few times over the last 18 months and every time we are amazed by the quality of food. We tried a few new dishes (new to us) and we have never been disapointed, the service is top class as well.
