"We have been skiing in St Anton maybe ten times in the last twenty years. We always go to the Hospiz Alm in St Cristoph for lunch, it's been a family tradition. We always book. We called in on Monday morning on the way through...to book for Thursday. I waited while a member of staff finished a phone call, although he walked straight past me only to return a couple of minutes later to finish the call. I was offered 12pm or 2pm on Thursday. I opted for 2pm. We duly arrived at 2pm to see signs on the door advising that the restaurant would close at 3pm. A marquee had been erected beside the restaurant, there was frenetic activity. Slightly concerning. I asked about our table, I was told it would be a couple of minutes. We waited, I asked again, same response. Eventually we were ushered into a small ante room that maybe seats 12 people. It was cold (outside temp was -12), nobody else eating, no music, zero atmosphere. We set about ordering, concerned about the time constraint. We also asked to get a table in the restaurant. No room anywhere we were told. My daughter went out to look. There was room to sit at another table. Another member of staff agreed to move us. We got our food around 2.25pm and were rushing as it was clear they were trying to clear the place. We asked for another drink around 2.45pm but were told that was not possible. I was still eating shortly before 3pm when I was asked to pay the bill. Clearly, some high rollers had booked the whole place for the rest of the day. No problem with that. I do have a problem being treated like a nuisance. A very disappointing end for something that has been an institution for us in St Anton. We will hopefully find somewhere else to replace it."

"I saw a few reviews mention lost reservations. I confirmed mine and there was no problem. Prawn linguine was good despite some mistakes. The garlic was browned, which is unusual and can often taste bitter, but not in this case. The...chili had lost a lot of his stroke, either overcooked or just too mild. My friend mentioned his risotto was excessively salty. The apple crumb was an unexpected item on the menu an excellent playback of a classic dessert with perfect spicing. Good service, beautiful space, reasonable prices and real music (Austria is now plagued by covers) to a reasonable volume. Bizarre fonts and layout on the menu I can forgive this."

"Goed begin. Pizza's werden zeer snel geleverd en waren ook zeer smakelijk!Maar van daar uit ging het jammer genoeg enkel berg af...Borden werden afgeruimd nog voordat iedereen aan tafel klaar was.We moesten vragen voor de kaart nog eens te mogen zien voor een dessert te kiezen. Eens het dessert gekozen kwam dit weer snel aan. De tiramisu was zeer smakelijk. De appelstrudel daarentegen zeker geen aanrader. Hij smaakte als een stukje verwarmde kauwgom. Opnieuw opgewarmd? Dat zou wel verklaren waarom het keuken personeel de tijd vond om herhaaldelijk overzicht te houden over het restaurant in plaats van in de keuken te staan... Misschien zouden ze deze tijd kunnen gebruiken om hun keuken op te schonen. Misschien dat dat de vliegjes en fruitvliegjes die in kuddes door het restaurant zoemden zouden kunnen beperken.De rekening vragen was dan als slot ook weer geen evidentie. Het keukenpersoneel kwam na een sigaretten pauze binnen en dan hebben we het aan hem moeten vragen.Wel nog petje af voor het zaalpersoneel!Ze wisten het hele Restaurant te bedienen met slecht twee personen.Naar mijn ervaring"

"Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Ein schönes Lokal mit tollem Ambiente und freundlichem Personal. Wir wurden schnell bedient und mussten auch auf das Essen nicht lange warten. Die Speisen waren topp zubereitet. Als kleine Vorspeise gab es als Gruss aus der Küche frisches Schmalz und Brot- sehr lecker. Die etwas höheren Preise sind durch die Qualität der Gerichte gerechtfertigt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der Mangel von Parkplätzen direkt vor dem Haus."

"We loved it at Skiing Budda! After four days of Austrian fare such as Käsespatzle and Knödelsuppe we were very happy to find this Thai restaurant in St Anton am Arlberg. Especially good for a vegetarian! I read about it in the Telegraph, so we booked a table. The staff was very welcoming. Quality of the thai food is good and price/quality rate is reasonable, considering the fact that the restaurant is situated in an expensive ski resort. The cocktails such as the mojito is great. I really liked the mango salad a a starters! We have enjoyed it so much that we came back the last day for bites just before our train left. And they have the same china (of PiP Studio Amsterdam!) as I do! We will come back if we are in St Anton!"
