"A friendly, surprisingly small and quiet restaurant. Both the staff members on duty were very helpful and attentive. Although the menu is quite limited, the quality of the food was good. The dining area is situated just to the left as you enter the lobby area of Sotheby's but, despite being open plan, was exceptionally quiet. Being quite small and quiet by most standards made the whole dining experience quite unique, I felt. It is not cheap but, overall, I would say is good value and I would recommend it for lunch. They are only open for breakfast and lunch."

The ambience was perfect as was the service .my only criticism was that the food (gnocchi) was too salty. The wines we had (Chablis and another white) were excellent. The service was first rate.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot for lunch. It is peaceful, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed. You can also enjoy some art work if there happens to be an exhibition on display.

Just the place for a quiet lunch with friends in an extremely interesting location. I have eaten here twice and can recommend the environment, service and food. There is no set menu so budget for around £50 per head for two courses and wine. You also have the opportunity to view some interesting exhibitions before or after your meal.

Breakfast Business Meeting inside Sotheby's is a wise choice; elegant yet an informal feeling as most guests must be attending the auction or visiting an exhibition. What makes this place so special is the superb efficient service of the staff who do everything with a warm charm. Many choices around the area for breakfast but if you want to feel genuine customer service do come here.
