"Tates of Sussex was quite busy, both in the restaurant and the coffee shop. We opted for the coffee shop and still had to wait in line. They were low on pasties and sausage rolls, but fortunately, we managed to snag the last one of the variety we wanted. Throughout the store, things were getting quite festive, with a great selection of Christmas lights, decorations, and gift ideas. In summary, Tates is preparing for Christmas and is starting to see an influx of customers."

The coffee bar is dog-friendly, but the main café isn't. Overall, it was an alright experience despite the slow service and a dirty floor. The cake was nice, and the flat white was decent. However, I wouldn't recommend the decaffeinated cappuccino—it wasn't worth it.

I must say the quality of the plants is amazing I spoke to the manager yesterday from plant department she’s a very nice lady helpful and explained a few thing.This year they have done a plant sale and even those plants were fantastic. Compared to other garden centres this one is by far the best around. Well done all of you keep up the good work it’s a pleasure to come in and look around. Kind regards Marie.
