Southbank Tandoori - Carta

Good food and decent ambience. Situated just behind southwark underground station. Tasted vegetarian dishes and channa masala is good and should try.

they honored the top table booking in the did even refused to acknowledge them even though they showed them the email; and were very blunt about it quite embarrassing! they should be beaten.

a reasonably good restaurant. the tarka dhall was a bit thin and bland, more bits and much more garlic and some of the sauces were a bit generic, but service was attentive and the ambiente warm. Ver carta

This restaurant is okay. The Tarka Dhal was a bit watery and not very flavorful, it could benefit from more spices and garlic. Some of the sauces were just average, but the service was good and the ambiance was comfortable.

The restaurant did not respect our reservation made through Top Table, and even denied knowing about it when we presented the confirmation email. Their attitude was very rude and it was a shameful experience. They should be removed from the Top Table platform.

small cozy place near waterloo station for Indian cuisine. we go back and forth for their tandoori and kebabs. the kebabs and starters are simply amazing. the Indian main courts could be better. the ambiente is in order. nothing too fancy. ideal for small friends or for couples. we had always taken away. eating was not good at all. I ordered dal makhani, huhn tikka masala and chana masala. it says the kitchen is Indian, but the taste was nowhere near what it should be. the chef does not know what the Indians are, which I would not recommend to anyone to go there who really wants to have an Indian food. try another place instead!

I just tried the restaurant for more out. the accommodation is located 10 min from waterloo tube station. the venue itself is very attractive and has a lot of space to sit and immerse. But I was in a hurry and I ordered only the traditional tandoori chickenertikka with three different sauces. but it looked so good, I decided to stay and dinate in the eating was amazing and my question for less spiced was also done, which was quite nice to organize venue with a rich selection of Indians, which should definitely be tried!

Last night I ate at the south bank tandoori with a friend who is dad, recommend the restaurant. we went to a impulsive decision after we decided that we felt too lazy to make our own dinner, so we decided to spend money that we had not, oh student life! we arrived at the very full restaurant and managed to get a table for two immediately. it was jam, a good sign for promising eating. we had a series of options on the menu from which we chose a selection. they have taken the ones to my friend a kartoffel corma rather than chickens (as it is vegetarian) very nicely. the service was a little strange, they explained that they were understaffed, but the team of the staff...read more Ver carta
