"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."

Extremely disappointed Mussels smelt and tasted bad returned these as they were inedible- ~Food disappointing regretted spending money and the evening here- lacking in ambience waiter was nice poor selection of wines by the glass. Would not come here again and would not recommend it.

What a wonderful evening we had at Spasso! It was my fiancé’s birthday and they pulled out all the stops! From attentive service to beautiful food!!! The menu exceeds expectation to a superior level! Fresh Italian Authentic cuisine at its finest!!! You will not be disappointed! Your Gnocchi Steak are out of this world…. Thank you Spasso for a wonderful experience. FANTASTICO!!!!

We had dinner at Spasso and it was a great experience! The service was very good, the staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was really good, very high quality. We had two starters (burrata cheese and bresaola) and they were perfect. Then we had two types of pasta (Amatriciana and Norma) and they were prepared just as it should be! If you like Italian food, this is a place you must try! Ver carta

The staff are friendly and professional. The food on this occasion was a bit disappointing. The starters were perfectly fine as to be expected with classic Italian dishes. The mains were disappointing. We both had the special seafood sauce with pasta and gnocchi. It was described as having lobster and prawns in it but we could not tell because what we got was a ragu with small flakes in it which could have been anything with a poor fishy flavour. If we go again I would ask a lot more detail of any dish I didn’t know to avoid disappointment or stick to the classics

we have already enjoyed our lunch experience as a family in spasso. this was the first time that we went to dinner at the request of our sohne to celebrate his 9th birthday, and the place blossomed without it being too loud. as always, eating was authentic and impeccable. do not expect that the stupid, standard Italian tariff is often found elsewhere, or a child menu; this is the real offer! luigi served great cocktails and even the children got an surprise (non-alcoholic) dish in the house for the occasion.
