"1. Slow service: It took over an hour for our starter order to be served, despite there being only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. There was no apology or update provided during our wait. 2. Lack of priority on in-restaurant service: Deliveroo drivers were prioritized over us, with their orders being prepared quickly while we had to wait. Some drivers even left without their orders, further delaying our meal. 3. Small portion sizes: The food we received did not match the prices we paid. For example, the chilli mogo dish we ordered was priced at £4.25 but only consisted of a few mogo chips with peppers and sauce. 4. Misleading discount offer: Despite receiving a 50% off food bill discount offer when booking online, we were initially told we could only receive 30% off. After some back and forth, the discount was honored but with reluctance. 5. Poor service: There was no sense of urgency or hospitality from the staff. We had to constantly remind them of our order, and the waiter even had trouble remembering what we had ordered. The chef could be heard shouting at the waiters from the kitchen. 6. Poor taste: The food lacked flavor and spice, making it disappointing for an Indian restaurant. It was bland and unappetizing. 7. Unacceptable wait times: We waited over 1.5 hours for our mains after finishing our starters. When we were told it would take another 30 minutes, we decided to leave and pay the bill. We ended up going to Montys, a nearby restaurant with excellent service. In conclusion, if a restaurant appears empty for a reason, it's best to heed that warning and avoid dining there."

Ordered takeaway for collection. Must say the lamb korai was delicious-very tender lamb and spiced sauce just right.Garlic naan was just as good, so too was the pilau rice. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Been living in London two years now and try a different curry house at least twice a month. This is always the best. The butter chicken and the saag paneer are unparalleled. Best curry in London by far. I moved away from the area recently and gladly take the one hour tube journey back for the food here. Incredible!

We were seriously impressed with our food order from Spice Magic tonight. Absolutely everything we ordered was delicious, hot and delivered on time by a very pleasant man. Ordered onion bhaji, spice magic chicken curry, lamb bhuna, aubergine side and dhal, rice and naan. All of which was outstanding. By far the best roasting Indian meal in a 5 mile radius.

At first glance, this restaurant may not seem like anything special, but you would be mistaken! The food here was a pleasant surprise, with delicious and generous portions. The butter chicken was especially good, and the Chicken Rezalla Balti had a spicy kick to it. It made for a lovely midweek treat. The only downside was that when booking a table online for a supposed 30% discount, there was no way to prove the reservation, so be prepared to insist that you made one.

My experience at Spice Magic on Friday evening was delightful. Despite passing by the restaurant many times and noticing it was never too busy, I decided to give it a try after a disappointing visit to my usual Nepalese restaurant. Although there was only one other table occupied, the restaurant seemed to be popular for take-away orders. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food, particularly the lamb sag, was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. Although we struggled to finish our meals, we made a valiant effort. I would definitely return to Spice Magic in the future.

Ate here twice, first time was ok so thought i'd come back with my family although only ordred mains and no starters This time I booked online which states you get 30% off your food bill. This is a complete shambles as they ask for a booking reference which you do not receive when booking. Basically they don't want to honor the deal and will say where is your reference number. You don't get one!! Second time eating here and ordered some starters. Don't bother, one mouthful was all you get with a King Prawn Butterfly starter. Have eaten alot of curries in my 48 years and have never seen such small portions. Won't be returning.

Me and my wife visited your restaurant last week as we wanted to try one of the few Indian restaurants in the area. We had actually popped into another one just before but we were told that one or 2 of the dishes were not available and so we came to Spice Magic instead. It was a Thursday night and so the place was fairly quiet. For starters we ordered a Chicken Sashlik and Veggie Momos. Unfortunately they did not have the traditional sauce for the Momos which qs slightly disappointing. For the mains we ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh, extra spicy and a Fish Goanese Curry. Unfortunately they did not have enough Tilapia fish for the curry and so we agreed for them to add in a few pieces of Salmon. T...

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
