"Nur per Zufall waren wir hier gelandet. Aufgrund des Namens erwartete ich eine bessere Imbissbude an einem Schwimmbad. Weit gefehlt, es handelt sich um ein einfaches, aber schickes Lokal mit wunderbarer Terrasse und und Kinderspielplatz an einem sehr idyllischem Naturbad direkt unterhalb der Burgruine Wallenstein, ein Ort an dem man „die Seele baumeln lassen“ kann. Und das mit kulinarischem Anspruch! Es gibt eine kleine, aber durchaus anspruchsvolle Karte, auch diverse Burger, auch mit Wild, lecker gemacht und eine leckere asiatisch angehauchte Rote Linsensuppe. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und familiäre Atmosphäre. Das einzige, was an eine Imbissbude erinnert ist die Bestellung und sofortige Bezahlung am Schalter. Insgesamt ein kleines Paradies."

"Under the motto “Abstecher vom Autobahn” I would like to introduce the Landgasthof Hess in Neuenstein Aua, which is located near the motorway exit Neuenstein, Bad Hersfeld West at the A7 next exit behind the Kirchheimer triangle towards the north. Coming from the highway you turn left and drive only one kilometre away to enjoy excellent regional specialties at reasonable prices. Plated dishes are offered on a lunch ticket from below 10 €. Very good kitchen is offered at prices where there is no stop on the highway. However, it may happen that one or the other court is already out of the lunch card when you arrive after 13.00. I would like this to be pointed out on the part of the service not only when the order was received, but also when the card was brought. A la Carte is served there at prices between approx. 10 and 20 €.Speciality and very deliciously prepared is local lamb. This is also a very popular restaurant for locals, for which you can take a further path. Also family celebrations are there in very beautiful premises, such as e.g. a conservatory. The guest room is very cozy and divided into several different areas. The service is always friendly and carefree. Parking is possible on the hotel's parking lot on the opposite side of the road. Via a staircase you reach the entrance of the restaurant. update from 02.04.2013 It was once again time to look over here and so we decided to take the quarter hour driving time in the evening to outside. Perfect service awaited us in a cozy atmosphere and excellent food. The pig carving from in-house slaughter is recommended as well as the juicy turkey carving and the roast potatoes are simply great. The fresh salad that can be put together at the salad buffet itself is deliciously fresh and the dressing is very round, the self-made herbal butter is to kneel into it. As always : Very recommended! update v.16.08.2015 Need it even an update? As always it was excellent in every respect. Since the lamb comes from its own stand, you can also buy wonderfully soft lambskin according to size at a price of 45 to 75 €. There was still a cuddly large lamb field for the sniffing wound today, which, however, in the eye, took the female into a hit. ; We will buy the lambs for us at the next visit. Update 4/ 2020 Well, we have already bought lambskins there. ; Landgasthof Hess is our 2nd dining room. Despite Corona Pandemie, the shops run very well there. With a reduced menu, we will continue to be pampered, pick up our food there after a telephone order. We have already used this offer several times in the past weeks and have been very impressed by quality and taste every time. In this way, it is good to live during the current nomination.
