Staff were attentive and couldn't fault the service. Only complaint if I had to be picky was that my reservation wasn't showing?? Fortunately this wasn't an issue at the time we dined as there were spare tables."

I visited this restaurant with four friends for tea. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We ordered starters, mains, two bottles of wine, and soft drinks, all for just over £100. It was a great value for the price.

Warm welcome on our late arrival (train delay). Given choice of different areas to dine in. Great varied selection available from the menu and the specials board. The meals were delicious with plenty on the plates. The total cost for the meals and drinks was reasonable. Will definitely be returning to The Stag in the near future.
