"Read so many reviews praising Star of Wales, but the quality of the food was disappointing. Every dish was fairly bland in flavour with many tasting as if they had been watered down. The lamb saag was the highlight, but the meat was chewy. I thought the food would be traditional curry house fare done really well, but unfortunately it seemed like any other average Indian restaurant. However, the staff were friendly and you do get good portions. All in all it was OK. I wouldn't tell friends not to go there, but manage their expectations given the hype."

Have got a takeaway several times from here and it's always good. Ate in during December and was just as good! Food is fresh, flavoursome and staff are always friendly

Went back for our second visit to the star and it was just as good as the last time, everything was cooked really well and spiced perfectly, really enjoyable meal in nice surroundings

1st time ever going there tonight for my birthday meal and I must I will most definitely be going again. The food was amazing and the staff treat you great. The boss was talking to us and he memorises everyone that goes there. Highly recommend going here.

A very welcoming restaurant the team couldn't have been better. Service was great. Food fresh and hot. The chicken tikka starter is a must. Biryani was delicious. Marked 4 out of 5 for food only because the salad could have been better. Naan bread were really good. Worth a visit and good value for money
