"Hey there, So i have been with my friends from High School as a little gather up after couple of years at Kühlungsborn. We walked by the place and reserved a table for 5. From the beginning as we entered the place the service was pleasant and polite. The menu is perfectly matched, not too much on the menu but especially high quality in low quantity on the menu. The steaks were excellent and well done!!! Side dishes matched the plate perfectly. It was a blessing to be there with my friends and to be served such a high quality food in a surprising very short time ! All dishes came as supposed to be at the same time and the alcohol menu has lots of high quality drinks to offer. The service was clean,quick and you felt perfectly fine to be in their hands.The staff is not only German speaking but also polish, english and I think some other languages as well.So feel free to enter this place you will not regret it and you will be understood!!! Thank you very much for this experience. If I will be back again at Kühlungsborn I will for sure come for another steak to you."

Fish (cable) dish was good. The potato soup and shrimp were also ok. The service could be better - the ordered bottle of water never came, but at least it was not charged. All right, but nothing back.

I had lunch at the restaurants and the food was very well prepared and very tasty. The restaurant is located in the family-run Polar Stern Hotel and is just a personal one like the hotel. Recommended.

Crowded place, therefore loud. But so many visitors can't be wrong. Very good meat (we had chicken breast, beef fillet and Rumpstak(NY Strip) plus sides). Waiters sometimes not too attentive, basically very friendly. Red wine far too warm. Recommended. Ver carta

The steaks were delicious; very delicate and tasty; the meat came from Argentina. The cook knew exactly how to grill her: I needed my good. This is often a problem and I get meat that is hard and dry. Not here. We asked if he could slender it (to cut two), what he did and the result was great. The meat comes with vegetables and crispy potato roast. For dessert the cream brulee was exceptional. We drank the Argentine red wine Malbec, which goes so well with steaks.

We had dinner in Bülows the other night ad overall had a pleasant experience. We ordered steak and shrimp and the US Rumpsteak with the recommended pairing plus some garlic bread. We tried Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon to drink.
