"Das gastronomische Erlebnis im Villino war zweifellos eine Delikatesse für die Sinne. Von der eleganten Atmosphäre bis hin zur vorzüglichen Küche und dem ausgezeichneten Service bot das Restaurant eine bemerkenswerte kulinarische Erfahrung. Wir waren vor sehr langer Zeit (15 Jahren+ schon mal hier und damals schon ziemlich begeistert von unserem Besuch. Doch der jetzige Aufenthalt im Hotel verbunden mit Restaurant Besuch hat unsere Erwartungen durchaus übertroffen. Zum Hotel: Dieses charmante, kleine Hotel vereint eine idyllische Lage mit einer herzlichen Atmosphäre und exzellentem Service. Die sorgfältig ausgewählten Details, von der eleganten Einrichtung bis hin zu den Blumenarrangements, trugen zur Entspannung und Erholung bei. Das herausragendste Merkmal des Hotels war zweifellos das außergewöhnlich freundliche Serviceteam. Jedes Mitglied des Teams strahlte eine aufrichtige Wärme und Gastfreundschaft aus, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich machte. Sie waren stets aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, und ihre herzliche Art machte uns das Gefühl, Teil einer großen Familie zu sein (klingt kitschig, ist aber so . Ah und dann war noch das Frühstück!! Herrlich! Kein Buffet, aber es gab alles was Herz und Magen begehren und ja, auch hier war der Service einfach perfekt! Schade war es nur, dass wir auf der Durchreise waren und nur eine Nacht geblieben sind! Aber wir werden wieder kommen."

"My wife and I went first time to this restaurant after recommendation from the place where we stayed overnight, some 3 km away.The beer-garden was nearly full and there were only three tables left when we arrived at 6pm. We sat in the sun, order a glass of Kerner wine (which was excellent) and a typical bavarian Weissbier. The menu showed Spargel and my wife ordered the same with chicken and I had a "Zwiebelriostbraten" )beef fillet with roasted potatoes and fried onions). Food was very good, the beef nearly to the point - as I ordered medium, it was a little overdone - but tasty and of excellent quality. We ordered some more Kerner wine and, unfortunately, had tp wait about 10 minutes until we received the new filled glasses. Meanwhile the whole beer-garden was filled up with guests and a lot of people had to go inside the "Gasthof" to have dinner as there was no place outside anymore.We had for dessert a "Süssser Traum" which was a home-made apple strudel with vanilla ice-cream and hot chocolate sauce. Nice to see that it was served with two spoons and forks without asking for it. My wife and I enjoyed the dessert and were a little unhappy with the espresso served afterwards as it was too much coffee with little foam and had nothing to do with the italian espresso.The waitress, a lady at around mid 40s, and another younger waitress seemed to be a little stressed because of the full beer-garden and therefore, maybe, the service was not what we expected. Still, the lady serving us had her nose a little too high up."

"Spontaneous visit on Thursday afternoon. We were seated at a high table even though some tables were still free. Shortly after, a group stood up and the lower area was empty. We wanted to move us, the waiter had to look at the reservation book and gave us the smallest table at the corner of a stone wall facade. Food seemed pre cooked, it also came very quickly I think everything is prepared beforehand everything on the menu is probably freshly cooked and takes time. Small portions overpriced. Pasta with too much oil for me, and Kaiserschmarren small portion and a bowl of applesauce 90 cents about 1.5 tablespoons in size. When I asked when paying if you were so full, he said next time he would come with a reservation. I said the shop was half empty, he said the first dinner tables opened at 5 p.m. and I shook my head, it was 3 p.m. Tables stand empty for 2 hours and customers are supposed to be squeezed into a high chair in a corner. I'm never coming back! It used to be a good shop, dear Cafe Augustin."

"Also on this year's holiday, a visit to the Wildenten expert Witzigmann was not allowed to be missed, although at the present time the offer of the chapel of asparagus or Pfifferlingsgerichts and others can be clearly presented. Service: The complete crew of the previous year is still there, of course, for a very good operating climate. When I was on the spot to order a table for the evening, the service and kitchen team just sat down with the staff dinner; As I have seen, the employees are also very neatly used. The service here always runs like lubricated, very friendly, very competent, change requests compared to (also without extra charge completely open-minded. Food and drink: Unfortunately there is still not the Meckatzer Weiss-Gold in the chapel; for the deletion of the first thirst, we therefore had to access Farny Export (EUR 3,30, EUR 2,70 0.3l), not to compare bad beer with various products from Meckatz. After the wine order was suboptimal or completely next to it on the eve, I chose this time to eat an eye-catcher, Markgräfler Gutdel (0.25l EUR 4.40. According to the map color bright yellow, scent and taste aromas of ripe pears, splashy. I was completely reconciled with drinking after the digestif, a Sauerkirschbrand (2cl EUR 3.60 from the homonymous Witzigmann relationship, which lives in the house next to the chapel and offers plenty of self-baked for sale. I have not drank such a good sour cherry for many years; when we were hired at the Brenn-Witzigmanns during the holidays to buy something for home, this Sauerkirsch was not to have. It's a pity, we took Williamsbirne and Brombeergeist as a substitute. An appetizer did not want my wife this time; as the main course she took the onion roast with homemade latency and supplement salad (EUR 16,80). I ordered as an appetizer pastet with wild ragout, orange slices and sour cherries (EUR 6.80 and as main dish 1/2 wild bottom lake with filled must apple and potato crustles (EUR 16.30). I was very done by both courts; they fully fulfilled my expectations, and I would rather have seen it at the main dish if monasteries were placed on my plate instead of the potato crustles. It would certainly not have been a problem; I had simply forgotten to ask. When ordering the various Wildenhauptgerichts, the service always asks whether the kitchen should remove the duck bones (in this case ordered by the service as a rubberente or left in place in the animal). I had decided for the rubbers today. My wife was satisfied with her onion roast; as she said, the meat had been a little tenderer on the eve (Adler grill plate at the competition. But a nice result; because the portions (as we do not know otherwise from here were very usual, we did not order Desserts this time. For dinner, I forgive four stars."

"My wife and I arrived a the restaurant at around 9.25 and told the staff member who seated us that we wished to eat. 20 minutes later when our waiter finally came to take our order there was no welcoming words or greetings. I went...to order food and was told rather abruptly that 'PFLAMMKUCHEN! '. In German he basically told me to take it or leave it. By this time it was too late to go elsewhere. Had we been advised of this on arrival we would naturally have gone to another restaurant. The food did arrive quickly however there was something 'off ' in my wife 's salad. As there was no lighting (maybe they had run out of candles) we couldn 't see the problem with the salad. We ate quickly and I asked the waiter twice if we could pay and he ignored me; it was only by getting up to leave that he took our money."
