Maremma - Carta

Visited early afternoon and it was quite busy, I decided for a light meal and opted for baby squid it was excellent and the vegetables it came with were very tastey.

Had an evening meal here with colleagues and can't recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The place was very busy but they managed very well. We had steak and rack of lamb and they where both excellent

On our recent visit we had prawns in olive oil followed by President Steak, the food was exceptional. The waiter was very attentive. The experience was a really good one and I do not think they could have improved on the food or service.I would definitely eat there again when next in Dusseldorf. Ver carta

I went here wit a my mom. The food was normal what hou van expect for the price. However 1 of the writers was really rode. He even throw the bill on our table from behind the payment desk. He was not paying attention to...the tables and was acting like he was in a constant hurry. Without that specific waiter the place should have been way better.

The restaurant is in the Altstadt (old town) which is a tourist trap.The steaks and food are good, but the service is poor and inattentive. It appears that the staff do not expect regular customers so treat people like passing trade with poor attention to good service. A great shame and had for the restaurant as there is a lot of choice in the area

This restaurant was recommended by a man at our hotel as 'the best steakhouse in Dusseldorf' and if my rump steak was typical of their food he was right. Excellent quality very reasonable price. My wife and daughter had salmon and schnitzel (both excellent) respectively so they don't only do great steaks. As is typical of Germany the service was good and the portions large. Ver carta

Nothing to say about food quality except that it is excelent. I was preparing myself to post a great evaluation until I got the bill and the waiter tells me "beware that service is not included, 10% service". I told that I don't understand that because the invoice shall cover service and his answer was "yes, you understand what I mean". First restaurant where someone tried to force a tip out of me. Will not return

Ordered a steak medium and it came vertually raw, and not just in the middle. Sent it back and returned a few minutes later just the same. Even the guys I was with who ordered rare said they could not eat it either.It was such a shame as what I could eat was fantastic, really really great taste with great fries. Service wasn't up to par either as they only seemed to have a couple of guys serving the entire restaurant.This place is a real mixed bag and the annoying thing is it could be awesome with a few tweaks.

One of several steak houses in Dusseldorf run by Argentinians. This is one of the better ones - nothing fancy, but you get a good steak and a decent selection of starters. I can't rave about it, other than to say that its a safe bet for a good steak. In Dusseldorf there are many average steak houses, but this one has well aged beef that is cooked well - similar quality to Goucho Bar and Grill in London. You'll find that in Dusseldorf, at some point you may have had enough of pork knuckle etc and just crave a simple piece of well cooked meet and a glass of König Ludwig Weissebier; this is one of the better options.
