Great views, great staff, great decor. This is a fantastic hotel bar with some real cocktails! A fantastic start to the evening in this well located hotel.

Excellent breakfast in hotel Steigenberger restaurant, overlooking lake Zurich. Beautiful choice of Swiss cheeses, variety of excellent sausages, different types of fresh bread, muesli, etc.

Vivos Bistro is located inside the Steigenberger Hotel and offers a top value lunch deal including salad, main course and coffee for 20 CHF. The food is very nice and the service at five star standard.

Sunday/ 2nd day of Christmas/ rainy day grey what a highlight to find in Zurich a lunch place with super friendly professional service, while being relaxed and enjoying good food. Will return to test the dinner menu!

We came for coffee and tea and found a nice place with a great view over the lake of Zurich, the main promenade and street with impressive traffic and cars. All service personnel was very helpful and friendly. Coffees and teas tasted great.

The Steingenberger hotels are well known in Germany, stylish, boutique-y with excellent service. In Zurich, the new restaurant VIVUS offers both light or traditional fare, contemporary decor and great warm service. Prices are medium-high typical for Zurich. Worth discovering, nice view too.

We stayed three nights with my children. Everything that we needed for the young and the old were delicious and the staff was very pleasant. I enjoyed the ginger Cosmo and the malfati, I had them tow nights. Their burger withe fries was a sensation for the children. The breakfast with the lake view was sensational, we were saddened to leave but we will sure come back.

It is located overlooking a quiet part of the lake; lovely indeed. The dowsing if the restaurant is beautiful. The large lamps worth noticing... A piece of art. As for the food- we had steaks and wine; the steaks were not so great, they didn't quite know how to monitor the level of cooking. Altogether it was a lovely experience but too expensive and not worth it. I recommend going there but order something lighter and more Swiss typical.

Very few reviews so I as skeptical. Why aren't people coming here if it is good? Well, we took a shot with some other couples.First, great lake views. You can see people strolling in the evening from the second floor windows. Lovely setting on the covered terrace.Second, the wine recommendation. Michael was great. I love it when the som doesn't recommend the most expensive wine on the the list and it turns out to be great. A Pinot from Zurich, Schillerberger, and loved it.Had a lamb salad. Perfectly fresh, beautifully presented, and the lamb was excellent. 5 stars!Our dining had risotto with rabbit. They loved that as well.Main was veal strips and a white fish from the Zurich lake.
