"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and made to order. The service is friendly and very accommodating, especially when it comes to special dishes not listed on the menu. I have visited multiple times and highly recommend it. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, not overly fancy. I particularly enjoyed the lamb in red wine sauce, which was tender and flavorful. While I cannot comment on the fish dishes due to my allergy, I can confidently say that all the food is worth trying. Visit this restaurant and give it a shot - you won't be let down."

"Wow, we can’t belief the last review! We’ve been eating at Guddi and Gikki’s for five or six years and have probably clocked up over 120 meals between the two of us. Mostly as a couple, but also family/friends’ get togethers. Never a bad meal, always great service, and as a vegetarian and vegan couple, we have always felt that we have been considerately accommodated with choice. No surprise then that our vegan and vegetarian friends and family also rate it highly. It’s by no means overpriced, and the cost properly reflects the high quality of the menu. The food is sensational whilst the ongoing tweaks and changes to the dishes keeps things fresh and exciting. Donsters, you are one hell of an uptight diner! First name Sabotage, second name Donsters?? Donsters’ last review of a different venue was in 2015 when a 1 out of 5 was also given? The response of that establishment clearly says it all, but Donsters hadn’t listened. Donsters needs to be more inquisitive, ask appropriate questions and explain their needs respectfully, rather than being grumpy and vacuous. If you can’t afford the prices, or if you are unable to appreciate the value of what’s on offer, then do keep your promise and stay away. I’d hate for you to spoil one of my evenings. Keep the fabulous food flowing please G&G."

"It’s been difficult for pubs that are not chains to get through the other side since Covid, this little gem in the heart of Taunton town has done just that. It’s because of the steadfast commitment and passion of the owner along with his team who have worked hard and succeeded to provide customers with great local produce, thoughtfully prepared dishes and good service. It is only because of this that this lovely bistro pub is always buzzy with a lovely atmosphere and on the occasions I have visited the food has been delicious, exciting and service always great. I brought along family from London on this occasion who are extremely hard to please having been other places and been disappointed, I thought it may be a challenge- I am happy to say all the food was delicious and they were very happy ! So thanks"

"During our stay at a local Airbnb, we decided to have a cooked breakfast and found ourselves at Silvers. We were the first customers of the day and, although we didn't have a reservation, we would recommend booking in advance as it was getting busy by the time we left with tables being reserved. The setting was charming, with goats and chickens keeping us entertained while we waited for our food. The cooked breakfast and orange juice were the best I have ever had - the bacon was perfectly cooked, as was the poached egg, and the bread was deliciously thick and fluffy. The staff were calm and friendly, and though the prices were higher than a standard greasy spoon, it was absolutely worth it. The coffee was also delicious and the tea came served in a pot. I would recommend Silvers to everyone."

"13 of us attended last night for a birthday celebration and once again the skewer house did not let us down. Food was amazing, staff were great and a brilliant evening had by all. Would highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to visit you guys again soon. Thank you Taunton Skewer House"
