Sunnyside Cafe and Farm Shop

A small cafe for hot drinks, cakes or light meals. Easy to miss but accessible from the towpath perfect for a break if you are walking. Very pleasant, especially if the weather allows you to sit out. Child and dog friendly.

I recently enjoyed a delicious vegan toastie and a tasty oat cappuccino at a restaurant where all the food and drinks were made and served by individuals with learning disabilities. This restaurant is connected to a local farm shop that offers some incredible products. I highly recommend it.

Such a friendly atmosphere and the food and drink match. It's just off the canal by b&q and has parking off two waters rd. Outside seating, indoor both by the farm shop and their amazing greenhouse cafe. Loads to look at and buy local products. great homemade products, excellent friendly staff and some of the best vegan cakes I ever had! also stand eco-friendly products in the workshop, refillable as well as their own produced honey and eggs, home baked brote and beautiful veg! they also sell bed plants! miss this child-friendly, vegan veggie mainstream friendly place it is 5 stars for me!

this friendly, beautiful cafe is what the world needs more, they have their regular non- vegan dishes and only got some vegan cheese / etc. they can get a toastie, a pack or an salad. nothing too chic, but good honest and tasty. the atmosphere is amazingly relaxed and quiet, I would like to go back for a lazy morning and the staff is friendly and smiling.

Had lunch in the Sunnyside Cafe which is a small cafe in a garden centre on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead. Service is friendly and the quality of the food is reasonably good. We visited during the pandemic and had to sit outside. It was actually a really hot day and we struggled to find somewhere to sit that was sufficiently shaded. Service was a little slow. Ver carta

This welcoming and charming cafe is just what the world needs more of. They offer a variety of regular non-vegan dishes as well as some options with vegan cheese. You can choose from toasties, packs, or salads. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and peaceful, perfect for a leisurely morning. The staff is friendly and always wearing a smile. I look forward to returning.

This restaurant offers a wide selection of homemade products, with some of the best vegan cakes I've ever tried. The staff is friendly and the shop stocks environmentally friendly products, refillable goods, homemade honey and eggs, freshly baked bread, and beautiful vegetables. They also sell bedding plants. This child-friendly, vegan and vegetarian-friendly place gets a 5-star rating from me!

We've been regular for many years. We like the environment and the ethos (support adults with learning disabilities in learning skills). Eating is not always fast, but we have always enjoyed our meals. Yesterday I went with someone who is currently low FODMAP, and I'm vegan. We had both several choices of sandwich fillings (sadly from jackets potatoes) and they were happy to answer questions and adjust meals as far as possible. We'll be happy to use it again. Ver carta
