"We fell on this hole in the wall walking in the 16th, looking at architecture. as it was lunchtime and we were hungry, we went to eat. the small space looked more like a neighborhood restaurant than a destination restaurant that a tourist would put on a list "dining not to be missed." it was small, exigu and offered only uncomfortable stools to sit. about 14 customers at the counters on both sides of the room and at a high table in the center. My friend kept slipping from his stool. However, I noticed that many Japanese were eating here, which I took as a good sign that food probably exceeded its atmosphere. the menu covered a wide range of offers with specialties listed on a table above the preparation area. I decided to order six tuna makis and six salmon makis. My friend ordered a sushi assortment. my maki contained less fish than what I am accustomed to and he had no taste of superior quality. My friend didn't seem enthusiastic about his selection. Our optimistic server was a delight. He delivered the menus quickly, answered our questions in a pleasant way and remained attentive throughout our meal. He also spoke an excellent English. Before we left, he gave us a visit card for Sushi-Marche, a second restaurant with the same owners in the 16th. it offers a table service. If I'm back in the free radio area at lunch time, I'd be ready to go back to gourmet sushi to try something different from what I ordered during this visit, based on the comments I just read from other ta. reviewers. takeaway dishes are available, so by a beautiful day.
