Swineshead Fish And Chips

Food came cold, when I complained I received abuse! Not the first time I have been disappointed by the food. Only used it because only place in the village!

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I have never had such wonderfully melted cheese on a pizza before, and the generous amount of cheese and mayo on the chips is really impressive. I think it's fantastic.

Awful experience...the fries were cooked in dripping, making them extremely hard and cold. They were almost like rubber. My 5-year-old son was looking forward to his meal, but was very let down. He even attempted to give them to the dog, who was unimpressed as well! Ver carta

Since new management took over this little gem has been getting better and better. Fish is fresh and top quality, kebabs and burgers are done on the griddle to order, pizzas are excellent and loads of variety, free local delivery, the staff and owner are great, can't fault them.

A massive thank you to this chip shop ,during Covid they helped me out with a fantastic hot meal at least once a week,as I live on my own and was and still isolating,I don’t drive so they delivered to me ,and I’m still using them and I always will ……Kind regards Hannah Gosberton)

The restaurant has new owners once again, but it is still pretty good. The fish, pizza, and burgers are all excellent. However, the chilli sauce is different from the previous owners' and is too oily, so it doesn't stick to the chips properly. The spicy chicken strips are a standout and even better than KFC. Food is always cold upon delivery. I only live 5 minutes away. The customer service is absolutely awful in this place and the owner has no idea what customer service is by the sounds of it. When you ring them to explain the food is just warm. They tell you your lying. I even said to them I’d be willing to drive it back to them in order to get a hot one. They still refused. Need to sort out there act out.

it didn’t start off great getting a can of pop that clearly says 59p on it or 2 for a £1 and getting charged a £1 for one then to my amazement my chickens got hair all over it looks like it’s been dropped on the floor the oil that the chips were cooked in doesn’t look like it’s been changed for a while if eaten I do believe it would make me ill avoid at all costs oh and I’ve put 1 star because I had to that’s to good for this place SHOCKING!!!!

I feel people should be made aware of this, order 3 lots of Kids cod bites and chips for my 3 nieces who are under the age of 10 to receive the cod bites with BONES in them, if it wasn’t for my mother in law pulling the cod bites apart then one of them could of seriously been hurt or even choked, when calling the fish and chip shop all they could say was what would you like me to do about it and was dam right rude! She also said that it doesn’t state it doesn’t have bones in it so it was our fault, just a word of warning before you buy your children cod bites!!! Ver carta
