does not expect to find the vegan series that it has. sign them on the door and tell them vegan food available. 3 cakes and 2 cakes available, and probably some meals, but I didn't see. I tried them all. excellent curry paste and coconut cake.

Today I have eaten here after a hike around the slender lake. the place is very sweet and cozy and the eating is simply delicious. it's the best English food I ever had. they have a huge selection of vegetarian cakes and cakes. highly recommended. Ver carta

beautiful, a few vegan options to see in an area where there are few places to eat. I tried the vegan cake with a side salad that was delicious. the banana cake was also beautiful, but the coffee was not after my taste (I think they serve illy coffee I don't like).

many tables outside. they had lemon sorbet and several lunch options. there were some vegan cakes. Oh had an eccles cake, I had a coffee/cobal cake. service was very pleasant, but it was super busy, so had a pickup taking place. updated by previous review on 2021-06-17

We contacted Syke Farm in advance and they made us a fantastic vegan afternoon tea for my birthday. They were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious, 100% recommend visiting. I have rated 4* (as happy cow does not give you the option of 5* for restaurants that are not fully vegetarian) but they gave top service. Ver carta

Oh my, if you love cake, then this restaurant is a must-visit! The cakes are homemade with a great selection of flavors, accompanied by five different toppings and decorated beautifully. I tried the steak and Stilton cake, and it was out of this world! It was so delicious that we ended up buying another one to take home. This place has always been great, but now it's even better with their amazing cakes!

We had assumed there would be no where for us to eat in Buttermere, but we walked past Syke farm tea room and saw they had vegan food available! This included curry, chilli, and a member of staff mentioned more vegan options (like sandwiches) were going to be introduced shortly. As we had already had lunch, we (sadly) only were able to try the chocolate tart (We couldn't believe it was vegan, it was so creamy, rich and delicious) and the blueberry icecream (probably the nicest vegan icecream i've ever tried). Would definitely go back.

I've lived in Borrowdale for two years now and had no idea Sykes Farm in Buttermere had a vegan menu! I feel like I missed out on two years of delicious lunches, so it's time to make up for it. Three delicious desserts on offer; tea loaf, fruit crumble, chocolate torte. Oat, coconut, and soya milk avaable for your hot drinks. A vegan meatball sub with vegan cheese! A vegan spiced pumpkin soup on the specials board today. All marked as such in all their vegan glory. A lovely setting as well with warm and snug lighting and delightful scenic photos of nearby views. Will definitely be recommending to everyone I know. Ver carta
