Tad is a Turkish restaurant in Hackney where owner Suleyman Ulu and his family prepare a range of traditional Middle Eastern “soul” food dishes. Situated near the north end of Mare Street in Hackney, the restaurant is spacious, seating ample and well suited to large groups and sharing.

Tad is right in the heart of Hackney. A stones throw away from the Empire. Myself and family can often be seen sat enjoying one of our family's birthdays here. We're made to feel really special and nothing is ever to much a bother. The food is yummy and plenty of it. The staff are warm and friendly and we really feel at home with them. A must for a quick snack or a belly full of loveliness .
