Food wax very greasy and not tasty. The staff were very nice and helpful. It is convenient to have a restaurant in the mall.

excellent. eating was fabulous, the fish cake is an absolute manifestation and if it is on, the rhabarb and custard eton mess is to die! also a beautiful selection of weeping and drinks and the service is excellent!

Excellent lunch at this cafe my husband and I had the crab salad it was lovely there was plenty of crab meat white and brown and a lovely pot of coleslaw and crusty bread, id come back to ilfracombe harbour again just to visit this...wonderful cafe again

We had a wonderful lunch at Take Thyme today to end our holiday in Ilfracombe. All our dishes were so tastefully prepared and we want to compliment the staff and the chef for this excellent meal! Hmm, to book or just chance it. Stood outside just before noon, thinking of a late lunch after a walk to hele, we decided to book for a 3pm table. One walk later, we arrived early, no problem. Shown to our table, already I could...tell it was going to be a great experience. Scallops and mussels for the boys, squid, prawns and crab, for the girls. The fact the plates were clean shows how enjoyable the meals were. Desert was mandatory and equally good. Between us and another table we drank all the pouilly fume, an excellent experience! A great way to finish our holiday. Next time we're here, we will definitely return.

we really enjoyed eating at take thyme. the crab salad was delicious, like the lobster salad I had a few days later. both the fish and the mussel-meder soup and the chowder were very good with generous portions of seafood. my partner gave. the squid and chips the thumbs up and at both locations we shared a lime cheese cake with vanilleeis, which was fresh and tasty. I am a good choice of wine and local apple wine improving the meal. coffee was very good and the staff and the owners were friendly and of course was proud to serve fresh locally caught fish. a super professional guided restaurant for a relaxed long lunch.

only from a beautiful lunch in this beautiful restaurant back. very assigned, with about 30 minutes before the arrival to book a table, no problems at all, very friendly and welcoming. great service, it was busy when we arrived, but we sat fast, drinks orders. took and brought quickly too table. large selection on the menu, many choices. we are seafood lovers and are happy to see lundy lobster on the menu. the starters were great, the seafood knower was the best we had, even Mediterranean food stockings were very delicious, very fresh with beautiful fresh bread to mix the delicious sauce. we ordered both the half-lobster for the net, again very fresh and tasty, and large portion sizes. delic...
