"Definitely a great place! Would be for me. We started with chicken gyoza, veg spring roll (nem chay), wakame salad, kimchi salad and spicy edamame. Everything was top notch there. Infact we went ahead and ordered more plates of gyoza just because we...loved it so much! Then we ordered black miso salmon which came with sweet potato fries. The salmon and the fries were again super tasty! Finally we had to try one of the sushis, so we ordered a plate of crunchy sushi. I have never had crunchy sushi ever. So this was a new thing and I loved it! This was also the first time when the inside of the sushi was warm. In all, I loved the food. Also the outdoor place is so cute. Since the weather was nice, we sat outdoors itself. We also got a discount on all the cooked food, not including the drinks. Thats such a bargain! The only problem I had was that there was just one person taking our orders, so sometimes when we wanted to order we couldn't find the guy or we had to go ourselves to give the order. Thats the only complaint I have."

In 2018 you can't ask cash to 10 person after eating because you does not support international credit cards. Bye bye!

The food was good and tasty, but you don’t have a big choice, the menu is really little and the prices are med-high. Drinks are extremely expensive, a water bottle of was The place is small but looks cute.

I’m away on business and am spoiled with the amount of sushi bars in Cologne. Tanoshii is one of the best I’ve been to so far. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating to the fact that I speak no German. The beef carpaccio...starter and unagi dragon rolls are Will definitely come back.

I went to this restaurand regarding the photos on the internet of tasty tuna belly. As you can gues there was no tuna belly at that moment so I ordered spicy tuna roll and tuna gunkans. Also I asked for the regular tuna sashimi. minutes of waiting (because they had a lot of take out orders) my waitress told that they do not have regular tuna sashimi... Of coure all sahimi gone... tasty food but need to take care about custumers! Ver carta

Friends told us about this place and we decided to give it a go. The food was really great. It's better than your average sushi place, but not quite super fancy Prices were fair, staff was nice. They also have several very nice vegetarian rolls,...for those who are interested in those options. Would recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi, doesn't mind paying a bit more for their sushi, but doesn't want to break the bank either.

Tanoshii is a kind of niche restaurant. Compared to other Japanese restaurants in Cologne and Dusseldorf it is a small place with limited menu. But the food is gorgeous. Specially the section in Fushion Sushi is a must try. And of course the sushi platter...is the best bet for the un-initiateds. Salad and soup menu was predictable. Japanese deserts never attracts me and so I did not try that. The drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are expensive. I love the decor it has a distinct characteristics.

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
