"We were disappointed by the location, I hadn't realised that it was positioned in a shopping centre! So really it was more suited to shoppers and travellers as it was quite near the train station. We arrived early so expected to wait, but the waiter kept giving us different times for when the table would be ready and that was annoying. Also, they wouldn't serve us a drink whilst we waited. The food was good and generally the staff were lovely and helpful. However, I wouldn't go there again."

Great food and really good service, not expected as it was so very busy

The beef was cold and chewy. Very disappointed. The service was poor too but they include a tip when you pay. Won’t go there again.

Poor service very slow. Food was expensive and over priced as were the drinks we went to the theatre afterwards and a bottle of prosecco at the hippodrome was cheaper than normal wine at the restaurant. Ver carta

The service was poor. Our drinks were forgotten, and when they finally arrived, they took them away before we had finished. Additionally, the food wasn't served because the waiter hadn't noted our order correctly.

Chronically under-staffed. Those who were working were trying their hardest were friendly but a) appeared to lack experience b) simply had too much to do. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink from a bar three yards away isn't ideal.

Food and drinks were good. It just seemed really disorganised. It felt like the siting staff hadn't been fully trained. The waiting staff seemed to be really confused with the happy hour offer and it took quiet a long time and the manager for them to figure it out. Ver carta

I paid £45 deposit which wasn’t taken off the final bill I had to ask One person almost finished their food before others got there. Service bad had to wait 15 mins for a drink and it wasn’t busy. One of our guest asked for a glass of water which she never got Terrible service and I want be booking that place again

The setting was lovely but the food came out very slowly and with big gaps. 3 out of the 4 of us had finished eating before 1 person's food even came out. A lot of the food was not hot enough. The cocktails were lovely, however we had to go for our 3rd choice as the first 2 were unavailable. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back again.
