"Poor service and rude manager. I dined at Taste of China this evening along with two friends. I ordered a glass of white wine which tasted very bad. I had 3 sips and couldn't bare the taste. I therefore opted for water. Upon receiving the bill, I informed the male manager that the wine tasted very bad (although it was actually toxic and tasted worse than bleach I was trying to be polite) and that was the reason I hadn't drunk the wine. He said that there was nothing wrong with the wine and the issue was with my personal taste. He did not offer to remove the cost of the wine from the bill. After receiving this treatment, we informed the manager that we were not willing to pay any service...read more"

taste of china offers a very good menu for vegetarians. the chili paste is very powerful, take it with full contempt! Eating it has a good menu. Prepare to book before going.

I was trying to eat vegetarian food. the dimmies were well cooked and really delicious. the noodles were a bit hard, but still manageable. the prices are not so high. the service is very slow. the personal does not seem to reply to 1.

I am appalled, I was at many places in Britain and sincerely check good places, but today I feel for myself for spending 19.95£ I don't try to be an ****, but that's what you get for a 10.95€. dumpling plated 4 knödel, and the sizzler are not confused by the rating types.

Brilliant place and ethnic Han Chinese friends have confirmed that this is perhapsbone of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Can't say anything wrong about it, all dishes are good although if you are a vegetarian, you might struggle a bit. The huge carp fish pond in the restaurant is a hit with the kids.

bad service! I could never understand the opening times and closing times of this place...and even for customers uncomfortable. they open from about 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock then close and open again at 530 o'clock, they just want cash, as they say signs that they only accept credit card for purchases over £15. I mean, the business is so anti-customers I would never buy again!

Disappointing. Visited in a group recently, staff variable, some OK,some surly, food again variable, some quite nice other dishes very standard which considering the price was disappointing.Service all over the place, some starters had been eaten before others arrived,a request for tap water was met with sideways looks to other staff.Overall this was a poor evening and other diners didn't sem to be enjoying themselves much either.

Average meal, with very fast service (almost too fast in fact.. but it was very expensive for what it was. Ordered 3 vegetarian starters, 1 vege main, 1 noodles, 1 steamed rice, with jasmine tea for 2 adults and 2 young kids (who hardly had any), and the bill came to £55! The tea was charged per person as opposed to per pot, and the portion sizes were quite small. Plus the bill didn't come itemised, but just a piece of paper with the total amount so we don't know what we were charged for service.

Having lived in Harrow on the Hill area for at least 10 years and as someone who enjoys tasting food from a different country I was looking for some exciting taste and flavors that a UK restaurant could provide. As most average middle-class people we are not expecting fine in a normal restaurant, so bearing that in mind I would comment. I did eat at Taste of China in Harrow on several occasions, definitely more than a dozen visit and tasted a variety of dishes that they provide on their menu with group of friends, colleagues or for a casual romantic evenings. I genuinely loved the food and quality they used to provide. Price wise it varies but surely not the cheapest On my last visit...read...

"before visiting myself, I had called to book a table and demand a certain type of sitting space to meet our needs. the dame over the phone advised that she could not guarantee that a table, as the restaurant fills quickly. Although this can be their policy, I cannot understand the point of booking if they cannot meet the needs of their customers. the point of booking is to prepare the restaurant for the customers and their specifications. we booked. the caffe itself is on the street and parking can be something to be superior if they are not familiar with the opposite. I believe that the parking space next to the pavement on Sunday or the rest of the week after a certain time that I cannot remember is free. once ordered, the food came hot and the staff was nice and accommodating. but I and my friend both felt sick when we ate the sausages and felt bad all day. the sausages were 80 cattle and 20 chickens, as we said. perhaps the type of oil that was used or something else there was simply a strange after taste that was not paleable for both of us. the portions themselves are quite larger, enough to fill them. the restaurant itself was packed almost completely around a few hours into the opening, so it seems like a popular place. the tables themselves are not big, so we do not have much space to move around objects, although there is not much of an annoying for us to eat. the coffees were made according to my opinion quickly and to a good standard. I also ordered from this caffe in my house and the food came as it looked in person."
