"I have two Nepalese restaurants in my home town of maidstone. They are excellent. I thought I'd try Kathmandu last night, with two favourites of mine. Black lentils and a lamb tarkari. I was disappointed. The curry had lots of tender meat, but was dry. No sauce to speak of at all. I asked for a bit of sauce to wet it up a bit and was charged £5.75 for it. I refused to pay for that and it was removed from the bill. The lentils had very little of the flavour I'm used to. And a portion of lentils was nearly £12!!! Seriously!? In all, for 2 people with 3 beers, £78 without the service charge and with the charge for the sauce removed. Absolutely not worth it. Rather bland. Won't go back."

This is an excellent place to enjoy a wide selection of delicious Nepali and Indian dishes. The food is exceptionally tasty, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with welcoming hosts. This is a fantastic restaurant with a wide selection of delicious Nepali and Indian dishes to choose from. The biryani and paneer chili were both delightful and truly a treat for my taste buds. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful, and the staff were incredibly helpful. They went the extra mile to accommodate our allergen and nutritional needs. The prices were reasonable! Vegetarian options were available upon request, and we felt very welcomed throughout our visit. They truly exceeded expectations when it came to dietary restrictions. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner experience!
